I think he was a painter and decorator, when he painted doors the people wanted new door furniture and he kept the old ones.

I often wonder about that. What keeps the people who rent these places from taking anything that is of value. I'd never trust it.

Agreed. There's a possibility that the tenant knew he would default on the rent so took most of what was valuable before being locked out.

I've talked to storage employees. They DO root through the stuff. Although he claimed female employees won't touch it.

I've worked at a facility for about a month now ....i got like 40 something units to cut locks and get ready for auction this week...at least not at my place anyone would do that...they all seem trustworthy plus we have cameras ....but hey my manager told me if i wanted to bet on some the units whenever that day is she could let me have that day off so i get first peek but thats going to be hell for me to remember which ones a like at a quick glance knowing alot of them will prob be paid off soon anyways...our process is pretty quick and even if my manager and I weren't trustworthy there isn't enough time to go through a locker.....we get pictures done before and after(for liability reasons with paperwork bc alot of tenants will prob end up paying before auction time)... I cut the lock,tag it,and put on a"ready for auction" lock on ...so even if i was a P.O.S. human there isn't much time to do that with my manager and front office people busy with other stuff and me doing maintainence things .....i've always wanted to bet on a unit so atleast i get first dibs on what they look like for like 30 seconds a locker lmao and probably only me and either my manager or co-worker get to see it in person as im told alot of auctions are online now

Take the screen to the flea market ! It can be expensive And someone will buy it for a reasonable price !

Saves hazardous material disposal fees. My area says you can put latex paint in the regular garbage IF you open it up and let it dry out. Oil paint and other substances are a different matter.
