Just a tip for the glass half empty people. When ordering things unseen I always start by looking up the 1 and 2 star reviews. If there are enough serious negatives I avoid the item. Otherwise, it might be worth a try. Thanks for providing videos and media.
I have been waiting for a review from channels i am familiar with. Seems great on paper. This is actually the upgrade or evolution of the little modeller you had first the cube baby. The little one will work with a bluetooth midi foot controller as well fwiw.
Reviews of cheaper gear are a good idea. Whether you like them (or not), this is the gear that young folks may get bought for them as part of a gift bundle - or folks on a budget may buy. Not everyone is shopping for a Helix/Kemper/AxeFX/Neural/Boss etc and those dudes get loads of videos. Its also important not to be sniffy - no one like the doodad they're thinking of buying being trashed as its not as good as the reviewers $5000 rig.
Its beginner stuff. These people that have the funds to push products out but know nothing about good tone. That being said ,for the price someone starting can start to get a feel for this stuff. Thanks for sharing this Steve,I play through one of your hx stomp presets everyday, Its the only one I have bought, to support you ofcourse I make my own, but you have opened my eyes to a lot and helped m get to where I am, and that is Happiness ! Thanks bro.
This pedal can load a capture profile like Tonex, it have a software to capture the profile and load it to this pedal. RU-vid have a bunch of tutorial videos about how to use them.
Well, a $60 modeller from China ... not expecting it to compete with Helix models. I agree that the one Steve tried in an earlier video sounded a bit better.
What did u expect in the Temu commercia- review, sorry.? Him to admit how shitty it is and he would never use one in a professional or studio setting ever? Instead we get "once I download some plugins I'm sure it'll make it way better!" As the final grade
You always do a good job, but honestly a $60 modeler isn't of much interest to me. In fact, budget (cheap) gear in general isn't UNLESS it is crazy good for the price.
Testing is always worth doing. But this is clearly not professional grade gear. There's a vast difference between Amazon-grade Asian tiny stompboxes and Amazon-grade Asian tiny multiFX.
"I dont wanna get in too much trouble" -stops playing AC/DC on his Chibson, using a knockoff modeler made with child and illegal (not for China*!) labor with stolen and copy and pasted schematics from the companies that created the originals but lean heavy on those loopholes and grey areas legally that prevent any kind of lawsuit: a la the Behringer business model. "Not great, but im sure once i dl load some unrelated/non Temu software that costs more than the modeler itself- itll sound great!"
That's a bit unlucky. I've not had issues and I'm all the way in New Zealand plus I know heaps of people who have purchased plenty of times with no issues
I think you've never ORDERED A THING from Temu!! I'm on order 10 and EVERYTHING has gotten to me in 10 days or less. You MIGHT want to look into your delivery driver if it's true.
