my review of the buying process/receiving my iphone 13 pro from Gazelle.com. Overall so far it's a positive yes from me! No issues at this time, if anything seems to be off with the phone in the future I'll update this video.
On reddit most people are saying that selling on there is very bad because they low ball you and only some had bad experience with buying. So I'm not sure If I should buy the s23 ultra over there.
Yea I’ve heard selling is a whole different ballgame, offering a lot less money, but I’ve only bought from there, and typing this on the 13 pro I bought from them. Battery life just went down to 99% after using it for like 2 years lol
I bought a 13 pro max off of gazelle last week it just arrived today, shipping was faster than i anticipated because i had heard that other had been delayed in the past, got here well 99% battery capacity i ordered mine with the condition of "excellent" there are almost no signs of use the phone is clean thankfully, one minor issue is there's multiple small scratches on the screen (probably from keys being in the pocket from the previous user) almost unnoticeable scratches on the screen other than that im fine with the phone especially with how much i paid for it. Imei is clean and no issues with restrictions with the sim, id say 8/10 for the excellent condition just that minor glass scratches. I'm probably going to get the screen fixed at a local apple authorised person because it would be covered under my apple care, somehow I got a year of apple care + with the phone even though its not new so even though it's annoying there's scratches on the screen i'd rather it be the screen than the cameras or the back of the phone/body.. I was more worried about there being a crack or scratches on the aluminium but luckily theres isnt and the back of the phone is fine as well. Im not sure if i would order from them again (Gazelle) just because of how its a lottery with these companies sometimes you dont know what youre getting until you get it. Id feel much better seeing the phones before hand so you have an idea what you're shelling out money for but at the same time i cant complain, it was a good deal and i feel like i paid the right price for it. The phone runs a little hot right after you get it out the packaging but I think that's because 1 it's prob not been used for a while and 2 all my data and stuff is being transferred to the phone from my icloud so I feel like once it's fully finished setting up it'll be cooler temperature wise. At the end of the day if you don't want to pay retail for flagship phones I feel like the refurbished root is always there but there' also a certain level of peace of mind when it comes to buying something new and you know you're the first customer to touch said phone. With this phone Idk whats been on it where it's been if it was cleaned and how much they do in the cleaning process all I know is what I can see. I can't even remember how many videos I watched about gazelle while my phone was in the mail, and each video was different, for example this one was really good I think the guy really got a good deal and his phone looks great with great battery life, whereas I saw others where it was hit or miss but generally most were positive experiences.
They’re ok phones but not that great battery life wise and lacking a lot of the features of the newer phones, I just got my wife a 12 mini to replace her iPhone SE
Thinking of buying the exact same phone in the same condition but I’m afraid because I want 100% battery life. not sure between gazelle and back market
@@Z3CHYD okay thanks a lot mayne just afraid because I’ve seen reviews of people paying for the phone and it never arriving but I hope I’m as lucky as you brudda. Great Vid Btw, Do More❤️
@@sedways8023 Yea I had a good experience, I'm sure the majority of people do too, but you know the ones with the bad experience are always the loudest haha
Not for me personally no, it was a few days till they shipped, but I got my phone in like 2-3 days once shipped. I think they used UPS and I had to sign for my package
@@Z3CHYD Your phone was locked to AT&T right? Did it have an outstanding balance? I actually just ordered mine surprisingly a whole month later and I’m already having doubts…
@@peteryvesclement364 Yes it was locked to AT&T but didn't have an outstanding balance or anything, I have Cricket, which AT&T owns, so I just popped my sim in and was good to go. I've done that with the last several phones I've bought, I usually always buy refurbished and never had an issue having a working phone
Yup it works perfectly, most likely yours had a non genuine screen replacement, Face ID doesn’t work with off brand screens because iPhones boards in the phone are synced and won’t sync with a knockoff. In setting under Face ID it probably has a tab saying “non genuine Apple parts detected, Face ID disabled” or something like that
Yes if you choose unlocked then it should work for any carrier you have. Like I said in video I use cricket, which is owned by AT&T and it works perfectly fine with my AT&T locked phone
I see on the website they have gone up a little bit, but not that much! I ordered mine locked to AT&T, 128gb in fair condition also if that makes a difference. I didn't include shipped, that made the total $481, but not horrible. And you can see in my video fair condition was still almost perfect
I can't confirm or deny if they do or not, if they replaced the screen with a non genuine screen you'd know, because then face ID wouldn't work. To my knowledge they don't accept ones with broken screens though, probably just replace batteries and give them a good cleaning. My phone has 100% battery health when I got it so I imagine they changed the battery, or I got lucky.
Working perfect! absolutely zero issues, and I have a case and screen protector on it now too. Battery is still at 100% health and it lasts me all day. My last phone I'd have to charge several times a day, but not this one with the same amount of use
@@pluto8696 my husband got an iPhone 14 Plus from their website In ‘excellent’ condition. It doesn’t have a scratch on it. Literally. Battery at 99%. Definitely worth it. I was jealous so I just ordered one too. Hope it’s just as good 🤞🏼
Yea my 13 pro is still at 100% health and even buying in fair condition was near perfect. I’ve put a glass screen protector on it and the micro scratch on the screen isn’t visible at all. Very happy with my experience with them and will definitely buy again when my wife is ready to upgrade
