What an amazing and fascinating hobby you have Al. There seems to be an almost endless supply of flooded cars in Florida for you to choose from. It's a bit risky, but then for $750 you could always part it out I guess. Flood damaged vehicles aren't permitted to be licensed and insured here in Canada, and must be scrapped. I guess that's part of the reason I keep coming back to see your videos.
Hello Big AL 🖐. The destructive force of them hurricanes & saltwater is unreal 🌀🌊 😔. Beautiful car 🚘✨️I would throw everything I had at saving it too. Wish you all the best AL . Salute 🎬😎✌️
That car looks Nice i love the color, once i Saw a vídeo that had a flood car and he put vinegar inside the engine for 2 days and there really was a difference, the rust was gone, man i am happy the engine turned good news AL 👍 good work
Great video I never heard or seen these Cadillac before I really appreciate the content and your love of never giving up on these types of cars you save
It seems that you enjoy ruining your life with flooded cars. Those Caddies are really not for the faint of heart. Specially seeing how much water is in the engines and all the sand and salt in the dash. It makes a great content for viewers. Good luck in bringing one or two of them back to life! You deserve being successful in rescuing some of those cars.
I thought you were going to get strike 3 on this one but it wasn't stuck. I agree, l like the 2000 style DeVille more than the 06 style. These had the better interior, the 06 interior is like something from an Impala. The 00-05 cars had cooler gauges and you could get night vision too. Both your Coachbuilders cars are the same color combo as my 99 Eldorado.
Interesting cars, never heard of Coachbuilder company.....Who on Earth would have an extra 30k runnin around to drop on a car after buying it........This will be an intersting project to watch....
Plans are to fix it back up to what it was pre flood. I don’t specifically look to buy flood cars. I’m a Cadillac lover and a lot of rare Cadillacs were flooded during Ian.
I would like to see a coach built convertible 1994-1999 Deville (my favorite era Deville since I owned a 1995 Deville). I have seen several coach built 1992-2002 Eldorados but no Devilles.
Man you need some Mexican cars. You need a 1989 2.8L Celebrity stick shift, a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Eurosport Coupe 3.1L stick shift and a 1985 Chevrolet Citation X-11 2.8L Stick shift. I promise they will be dry cars.
hi mate what about putting that northstar intothe black allante making a one of a kind allante it would be a shame to use the black allante for parts much love bro
@@bigalsbikeandauto I found out this week my 67’ Impala likely was in a fresh water flood and hasn’t been touched since 2016 at least. I replaced the fuel tank, drained about a gallon of water out of the engine (not great video coming to my channel soon), changed the oil and actually got the engine to start. Wondering how to go about flushing the TH400 as I’m sure it has water in it as well?
@@nopatienceprojects if you go on auto auction rebuild’s channel and watch the flood Allante video you can see how we flushed the flooded transmission step by step.
@@nopatienceprojects it would be easier to watch that then to try to explain it in words, but basically you remove both cooler lines from the radiator and let the pump of the transmission suck in new fluid while it shoots out the old fluid.
@@bigalsbikeandauto I watched it just was back when it came out. Will re-watch and also see if I have a cooler on the car, it was one of the earlier TH400 cars made. Was expecting a lot of stuff to fix/restore but not flood! Engine oil was a goo consistency, going to pull the pan and clean the oil pump screen and bottom end too.
