If you are able to make decent money flipping the car, that could set you up for a nicer project. If you like this car and the parts for LS swapping are not too outrageous go for that. Ultimately I’ll watch whatever you end up deciding to do. As long as you enjoy working on something and making the videos for it. That is the most important part, your interest. That is what will make it fun to watch.

Glad to see you making videos again. Even though my primary interest was the XT at first I subscribed because you make great videos. Still haven’t picked up a roof rack. MPG is pretty bad with my XT and figure a rack won’t help, but I did like the look of yours.

Im just back from a track day where a dude drove a 944 turbo. Got us scared with a big water puddle between runs, turned out it was just his windshield wipers fluid reservoir disinteresting to dust.
I say keep build the Porsche! Definitely a cool looking car and I think there’s a lot of potential in it. Something other than an LS swap may be cool just because everyone does LS swaps, but the flip side is the LS is probably easier to do, so that’s up to you.
I miss the STI too but hope you keep the Forester otherwise no more Subaru in the garage! Dig the new 944 project car since being 80s kids I always am fond of the 80s-90s cars.
Bruh, I dont even drive a beamer or subi, ( I used to have a 2008 WRX and hooned it hard) I just dig your style and plan on doing some autocross in my land yacht 16 Challenger scat pack. Great Vids- subed!
@@UnorthodoxMasterOfGames I love that car! (mine) It is an torqueflite 8 speed auto, I had WRX's (all manual) and the Challenger I had before this was a Tremic 6speed..sad to say NONE of them hold a candle to this automatic, its magic, no way any human pro or not can shift as fast or precise.
@@Superrun357 Yeah I won't deny the massive advantage these modern automatics have over manuals, but I want to continue driving my manual cars for as long as my legs allow haha. Would love to hear an exhaust clip, especially if you went to the aftermarket for a catback or even some long tubes!

Follow-up thoughts. Do something fun and different with it, both different for yourself and different for RU-vid. There are enough people out there doing "show car" builds and wide bodies like some of the picture you showed. I remember in some of the original M3 videos I first found your channel on that you said you used to autocross a Miata. How about getting back into autocross with the 944? Maybe your local PCA might have some events that are a little more mod friendly. Or if you prefer the track more, LeMons?
DUDE you need to buy a newer sti again! youd get hella views man theres no good wrx sti channels out there and my wrx channel is good but he has a wrx and does mostly fa20 content but damn man we need sti content
