I Bought Cheap Swimbaits on Amazon are they Any Good? 

Drill a tiny hole in each segment on the bottom and glue in a small tungsten split shot. I brought some segmented hard swim baits from wish and they all ran on their sides. After adding a split shot to the underside of each segment they ran much better and also had a slightly more aggressive action because of the extra weight

I like my large soft plastic lures to run a little on their side to simulate and injured fish. Worked great for me for Pike in Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark and here in in UK.

Hey Brendan, you should come up to Minnesota for a video, I’m only 13 years old and I’ve caught over 700 Pike up here, almost every lake has a good population of Northern Pike and stocked Tiger Muskie, I’ve caught 12 Muskellunge only this year, and those swim baits will work extremely good, I really like those long swim baits I think those will work really good. Enjoying your videos, ever day after school I watch them so keep it up!

The baby bucca bull shads are probably the best budget swimbaits you can get, the action is just so good and everything about them is quality... although because I watch tacticalbassin I change the hooks one everything... thx Matt... and they now have a baby bull Gill on some websites...

The side roll can be a good thing. The lures can act like a injured bait fish.

There's a way to tune lures if they're going sideways,simply bend the line hole sideways and see if it improves

For the soft plastic swim bait try using a non slip loop knot. I’ve used a few similar ones and the loop knot helps with the side swimming

Some of the shorter swim baits are roachs or Rudd coloured

Next time go to aliexpress and pay half the price you would pay on Amazon. The jointed baits that use nylon for the joints don't last past a couple of nice fish. They deform.

I have some other versions of those multi jointed baits. They wiggle good out of water and look good out of water but then when you real them in you feel the regret of buying them. Waste of money for these gimmicky lures. Any of your usual baits catch more fish!

You can't fish the minnow swimmer on a bait caster only on a reel 😉

Those particular Truscend lures are crap. They don't sing and they don't swim well. The ones w the weights in the belly however are fire
