The half bat is a good product. It’s kind of a shame that they were so quick to dismiss it. Is it overpriced? Possibly. But as a college hitter, I definitely benefitted from it. One of the drills I liked doing with it was hitting tennis balls in front toss and stop at extension after contact not rolling the wrist over. Because it was so much lighter as well, it’s very easy to focus on smaller movements before contact like my back elbow getting on plane.

LOL, I actually have 3 of these. SwingRail, Rope Bat, and Hit Doctor. All were bought for youth hitting. Like the Hit Doctor the best because it works on bat drag and casting which is prevalent in Little League ages. Even my 13 yr old daughter, who has maxed out at 73 off the tee, still casts at times. It's similar in concept to putting the tee up against the cage. And if you turn it around and put the plastic piece on the inside you can work on hinging. And it's size is convenience for travel purposes.

The rope bat is supposed to be used with the yellow rope bat balls that come with it. That’s why it’s hard to hit anything solid off of the tee, and especially off the pitching machine 1:10

The Rope Bat is a great hitting tool and it really helped my son's swing but it is not supposed to be used with baseballs. The instructions are pretty clear.

As a hitter and a few times, struggling I would say the swing rail might make a little more sense just by keeping a swing path inside when making contact but the rest of the products don’t make sense the way to get better on your hitting is to see ball hit the ball I don’t believe in tees. I prefer soft toss on the side of front or even bounce over hand to wait on breaking pitches.

Rope bat is an amazing product. It basically makes your swing be perfect in order to hit it. You cannot drop your elbows or else the barrel will drop. You can only hit rubber balls or else it will break the bat. Overall, 10/10 product.

I like the rope bat. It takes a bit to get used to, but you need to use it off a t with the foam or whiffle. It forces a quick explosive swing on the sweet spot. Keep using it, I dig it a lot.

"Teacher Hitter Man" is a phenomenal hitting coach here on YT and uses that flatened bat. Aaron Judge and other pros use him for instruction. He gets to the heart of hitting very quickly and explains the mechanics like no other.

The keep your head in the zone tee i could see screw your neck in the long run as well if your too strict with. I view it as something similar to golf in that regard with modern athlete speed keeping your head too still after contact in the golf swing can make you wrench yourself.

They found a way to constantly shit on competition and sell their product at the same time, the only problem is people will believe you’re underselling other products due to intrinsic bias, like in the Rope Bat’s case

I’ve watched a video about the flat bat. Kang Jang Ho, a former Pirates player, was using this to train for generating backspin. The purpose of this is to have a swing like Mookie Betts that does not rotate the bat while hitting the ball. It’s also a good training for having good launch angle as well. And Ho uses plastic balls not baseballs for that obviously 😂

The leftyswag bats are legit so are the half bats. We use both of these in our program and they definitely have helped out. Hitting plyos also ++++. Great video Trevor, now when are the Brewers going to call?!?

ZV TEE is used to keep your head down, call out the color on each ball hit. It has really helped my daughter.
