Definitely good choice with the very sharp Mizuno bag. My favorite for simplicity and no frills ease of use is the Ping. Classic, light, easy on and off, great bag. Nice work. Always great entertaining reviews!

I love my Sun Mountain 2.5. I had the 3.5, too and they're great, light bags. I actually sewed a velcro patch right on top of the bottom pouch on both of them - so it's right where my left hand is. And I only put the needle into my finger like, four times!

There is an additional design feature that folks should consider, and that is whether the base of the bag is fixed (Callaway, Mizuno and Sun Mountain) or moving (Titleist and Ping). Each of the fixed base bags have an external pedal (for lack of a better term) that activates the legs when you put the bag down. Both the Ping and the Titleist have the mechanism inside the bag such that the base actually moves every time you put the bag down, jostling the clubs and causing them to move. Up to each of you whether this annoys you or not, but it did annoy me when I was carrying my previous Ping Hoofer 14 (I stopped carrying now that I am over 60). That said, I do prefer the pedal-free movable base type because I now use a 3 wheel push cart, but desire a stand bag for trips to the range. The absence of the pedal makes it easier to mount on my cart. I am currently using a pedal-free Titleist stand bag with a 14 way top and a BagBoy Nitron push cart. My Titleist bag does not have the Velcro for your glove, which I do appreciate, but I created one with by attaching a velcro cable tie (you may already own some!) to one of the many available loops on any bag. Also a comment on the rain hoods, which Matt said the Ping did not have, but someone already pointed out where it was (there is even an arrow next to the leg pointing to the rain hood pocket!). This gives the Ping the advantage of not cluttering up one of the otherwise usable pockets with the rain hood. So...given the choices here, any player who wants a stand bag but uses a cart (there must be others), I would probably give the nod to Ping since it is pedal-free, and uses the pockets more efficiently.

I have used a Callaway bag for the past 3 years and it has been the most comfortable bag I have ever used. With that said the Mizuno and Ping are both clean!

The Mizuno bag looks great too! I just moved from a Ping Hoofer to a Titleist LinksMaster Member bag. It's a bit heavier, unique, has all the storage I want and still comfortable to carry.

I pretty much love all the bags. Golf equipment has gotten so good! I remember when I was a junior and used to absolutely slice through the leg when I got pissed. Karma would probably not be good to me but here’s hoping. Good job buddy!

I ended up with the Ping bag. Btw, the rain hood is hidden under the padding for your hip. I like the Mizuno too but the way Ping integrates the mechanism to expand the feet is the best. Many other companies sticks out and can sometimes scrape the bag of your calf if you are not careful. Only Ping, Titliest, and Taylormade bags has this.

I've been a PING bag fan for years. You could see how badly you wanted to pick it. I've been looking at the hoofer as a potential update all season. The Mizuno bag has a lot to offer I didn't expect though and will have to give it a thought now! Great choice and great video!

everyone knew you'd pick the Mizuno bag as soon as you said "i liked it" at 6:47. Everything else about that bag was cherry and nuts to make it better. The biggest feature you will like is the huge top opening and the horizontal club alignment. If you walk a lot, you'll notice the difference (irons aligned and not too much of pulling out of bag). I carry that very same Ping Craz-E-Lite bag and it's awesome! Two things... 1. I attach my glove(s) to the top plastic handle. Better that velcro IMO. 2. The rain cover is located in the back cushion of the golf bag.

The titleist and Callaway bag are pretty awesome. I've watched almost all your videos and I've already learned alot more about golf just from your videos. I'd love to buy myself a new bag because mine is 7 years old and falling apart but that's just not happening anytime soon as my wife and I are having another baby. I gotta prioritize my spending right now. But I love what you do and it's amazing that you are giving away a bag to someone! Keep up the good work

Loving your work Matt. Have watched a number of your videos, and a number of various other bloggers covering golf. Your ability to combine being informative with great humor (this video had me stitches) is right up my street. I had to pause the video as I needed to find out, with no delay, whether my golf bag had that magic hidden zip that gives you access to the bottom of the bag - alas it doesn’t and so I'm going to buy one that does!!! That Ping back is super nice, but I do like the vertical zipper on the Mizuno and the added touches of color. The Titleist bag also looks excellent and I never really thought about the legs catching on my leg like you do - now I've got another thing to think about while out golfing. Awesome video, it’s funny, I did the same evaluation about 4 months ago. I ended up with the 2018 model of the ping hoofer. It’s heavy but I can still walk 18 with it. One thing I found annoying with hyper lite bags is the fabric tends to rip at the top after about a year. Also, I hate when they use a string for holding accessories because it will inevitably twist up as you walk making it a problem with range finders. Things I looked for were glove Velcro, tee holders, and easy access for cell phones (callaway does this best with that open pocket). The newer bag has the cell phone pocket above the accessory pocket which is way better if you have the bag over filled.

Love the review. I actually just bought the MaxFli Honors 14 carry bag. A little heavier, but has an insulated pocket as well as a water bottle bag, and the big feature I liked, was the kick plate on the bottom of the bag is NOT the style that sticks out. This is a huge issue with when you travel. The kick plates that stick out destroy travel bags after only a few trips.

I like the look of the Titleist bag personally. I am going back to walking this season as I need to get the exercise and lose the weight that I've gained. Just purchased the Mizuno BR D2 bag. Love it. It isn’t for everyone with its short legs. Extremely lightweight and can hold everything I need. Back in November it was on AMZN for $90

My rain hood is in a little pocket just to the right of the puffy part of the hoofer near the top. Its easy to miss if you're not looking for it.

That Mizuno bag is really dope and honestly I'd have it down to the last two that you did, but I'd go with the Ping Hoofer. I really loved that bag when I was looking at all of them earlier this year.

Like the Mizuno carry bag as have used a previous model during UK winters when courses don't allow buggies or trolleys. My preference of the choice available would be the Ping bag, like the colours.

Great video. I haven't carried a bag in 20 years and I'm not on Instagram. I picked the Mizuno bag at the beginning. Perhaps the reason Callaway uses a simple design is so no one is tempted to steal them.

All super nice carry bags. One of the things I look for is a lot of pockets for other stuff and also are there dividers between each club pocket. Plus lightweight. I currently own a Callaway bag. looked at a lot of them online before deciding.

Great review congrats they only thing with ping ok no rain cover but is only one who has sistem that when you lift it up the legs always are stick into the bag quickly. Nice video

Greetings Matt! The only time I walk is when the course is drenched and no carts allowed... I normally ride and seldom walk as I need an area for beers and my cigars. The Ping Crazee lite is an amazing bag! I went through a couple of bags during covid when i didn't want to ride in carts with strangers (yes Arizona did that!) And after buying a few and eventually returning them after one round each for one reason or another - either bad straps or weak zippers.... *cough* Sun mountain *cough* ..... the PING Hoofer is my HANDS DOWN WINNER!... and it does have a rain cover! They did not sell, or i did not notice, the Mizuno

Like the zipper style of the Mizuno. One of my biggest complaints on some of the bags on the market, is the difficulty to access pouches while carrying. Loved the look of the Titleist though!
