@@Yourtourguidetoearth "Nobody" is an exaggeration, and while it may be true less people play it than the other modes...another factor for it would be that it's a paid experience, unlike the other modes, which are completely free. I think making it free would enable players who haven't tried it out (but want to) to do so! After that, perhaps they could add in STW related cosmetics to gain profit from STW once more?

Cool thanks will be playing it more then Personally it’s kinda depressing how Fortnite is turning into an amazing battle Royale that also has stw and a bunch of creative maps into just a thing. Like there isn’t really anything you can describe it as Just a thing And no one asked for them to do that, so there is no reason to, they still earn money from the item shop, primarily from bp and skins, and people still play stw Why can’t they see that there is a market for stw, they just have to put in the work and update it first
7:39 “Two free Pickaxes” What are you talking about? If you’re talking about upgrading your Harvesting Tool, there’s way more than just two. The game definitely still gets updates. The updates are spread apart though. It’s like every 3 months or once a season. As a Founder, I do not play for the V-Bucks at all. When I bought Save The World, V-Bucks wasn’t what I wanted most. It was for the fun, enjoyable gameplay. You shouldn’t buy Save The World just for the V-Bucks. You should buy it for the game.
@@CMD-Puggy I’m at Twine Peaks already. I’m Power Level 132. I’ve defeated the Mythic Storm King at least 5 times but it’s not something I do often. I’m currently grinding Ventures to get the Superchargers. The Canny Valley Questline can be very tedious but it is not that difficult. Yes, one quest can take multiple missions but the quests are fairly easy to complete. I was able to complete the CV Questline in a month but that required me to… not touch grass.
Same here, I remember falling in love with the game in 2018 and decided to buy the founder’s pack next time it came out. Getting the v-bucks was always just a bonus but with the state the game is in now, I find myself only really playing to get v-bucks since I don’t have time to grind ventures
I've always loved stw (mainly because I'm a founder and get Vbucks from it) but I also appreciate the gameplay, the only thing I wish is that they'd add more missions bc defending the same thing over and over again for an hour can get very repetitive and boring. Yes, I know there are non-defence missions like rescue the survivors and Destroy the encampments, but when you get to twine peaks the missions are literally just play certain missions.
Yeah, there defo should be offensive missions like "destroy certain objective" missions, and these have high amounts of health! (You would have to be near them in order to damage it, in order to avoid across-the-map Xenon bow spam) STW also needs more bosses, and what they did with The Lab dungeon and Hyde was kinda going in the right direction! Maybe we could have a tank that got commandeered by husks?

There’s a lot more than just “two free pickaxes and a music pack”, there are: 6 or 7 pickaxes obtainable through upgrading your pickaxe damage 2 music packs, ‘Save the World’ and ‘Stand and Fight’ Several banner icons, the ONLY rare/difficult-to-get banners in the game A spray through completing some Dungeons quests 2 Loading Screens obtained through Dungeons and Frostnite quests And much more I forgot about
Some missing items on this list: Two music packs for Dungeons and Frostnite, some sprays for Survive the Horde, and 2 loading screens from Hit the Road and beating the Mythic Storm King
I love Save the World ! I love Battle Royale , Build or No Build ! I love Fortnite Festival ! I love Fortnite Lego ! I love Rocket Racing AND IT WILL HAVE UPDATES AND A ACTUALL SEASON 1 ! I love ALL of them and I love that now as an endgame 129PL Player , I know almost everything about this game
Honestly, this mode is great for maxing out your Battle Pass EXP. I gain several BP levels just from doing generic “Rescue the Survivors” and “Eliminate Enemies” missions.
As someone who’s played stw since it was first playable, I still prefer it to BR. People will call stw boring but then go play Minecraft lol, it’s a fun game and interesting mechanics and gameplay, you just have to sit down and appreciate it
When I got bored of BR I 100% completed save world story missions back in chapter 2 season 1. I also wanted to get the max level pickaxe lvl 275 because around that time they gave people who owned the pickaxe in stw a version to use in BR And then all the achievements to unlock all the banners. It took me 2-3 years of full on grinding. As I’m a founder I’ve got roughly 100k vbucks for free so it was definitely worth it. I only originally paid £14 because I got it on sale.
I love the idea of getting new weapon varieties from llamas, quest lines, new monsters and husks, gaining new hero’s and weapons, and building amazing bases and and working with friends during cool events I wish it still received updates i played during 2018 and still do mainly just for vbucks now since I completed most tho
Did you know the final boss of save the world when you defeat the boss and you see that the boss is a purple cube from battle royal. Which means that the two games do take place in the same canon and that could mean STW and Battle royal could overlap in there storylines.
Yeah, I feel like STW could introduce the Last Reality as enemies! They could act like the Automatons from Helldivers 2; Lesser in numbers, but fight at range due to their superior firepower!

Save The World will always have a special place in my heart. If they ever work on it and release it as FTP they would get A LOT more income. EPIC please give STW attention. Build on it. Include more than just seasonal events. I know I'm wishing for something that would most likely not happen.
I do like the whole idea of making neat builds, which is its main appeal to me the biggest downside to me is all the defense missions, makes being constructor pretty necessary if you want to have a less stressful time
I don't know how recent this was added, but nowadays you can kill crows, raptors or boars that have a purple or yellow glow and get free full durability weapons or traps, and their level scales with the zone you're playing in, so i have just been killing boars and other animals for free guns since i don't really play STW for anything besides Vbucks
if you want to get vbucks from stw it might be a good idea to level up your traps, so if you ever get unlucky and can't find people to play with you can solo. you'll also unlock more vbucks missions as you unlock more zones. if you go really sweaty though you can build your home base for endurance so you can get 5 levels of battle pass for free every day, just run it overnight
The husks look like skin Walkers more then zombies which makes it 10x more horrifying. This mode should've been M rated after seeing the early concepts which would've made Save The World more fun.
The way I view STW's universe in relation to Reality Zero (Battle Royale's universe) is that the Zero Point has connected to it and brought various characters from it into the loop, possibly including the defaults, as well as most of Chapter 1's architecture and environments, I'd say, but Agent Jones is completely different from the soldier Jonesy from STW.
You *can* technically get vbucks after 2020, but you need to buy a starter pack/founder code, but do not, they cost hundreds as they are being sold by resellers as the codes are limited and not being made
STW gets content updates occasionally, it is run by a poor little skeleton crew so all we get is a minor feature or rebalance every season (if we're lucky). So far in 2024 we have gotten some buffs to heroes that really needed 'em and the Survive The Horde mode has been touched up to be way more engaging than it already was last year also hit me up if you ever wanna play STW a bit more or even just need information, I've played since 2019 and I'm PL134 also also rocket racing is awesome and I hate that it's getting the STW treatment too, immediately after launch too
You have it backwards Stw was the prototype for BR. Most of the alien weapons were copy and pasted from the sci fi story. when STW was active it was popping and founders who still have it still enjoy it.
Play during Halloween in the dungeon. Its the only time I go back to play stw. Also rocket racing rocks until you make it to diamond 3 where you barely level up anymore.
As a founder I'm just here to say I have over 5k vbucks I didn't shell out money for. I play STW at the beginning of a BR season to get 5 levels a day and.... That's about it 😂 STW is a very good experience for the story. But after a year or 2 or playing, being a founder makes it a lot more worth it
i bought the ned the eternal pack just for the back bling for my slurp leviathian skin cuz i thought it was really cute and stw is enjoyable its also a good way to get br exp if u have no quests and u got nothing else to do i enjoy it also if you play with teammates because only people that have played for awhile really play the game people tend to give you really op weapons they dont need and i got so many at the start it helped so much
I’ve been playing stw since it came out, and I still do the vbuck missions every single day I just don’t do ventures anymore after playing stw so much I just can’t be bothered. Also what was that weapon wrap you were using on the assault rifle? It looks sick.
I've gotten all the trophies, schematics, and heroes, and I've finished every quest. There's only 2 things left for me to do. It's for me to go to level 1k on the collection book and for me to get to max power level. Im 961 on the collection book and 144.9 on my power level. Also spectral cliffs was supposed to be the next zone for save the world. I have all the materials too.
Creative makes the fact STW isn't as updated, not as dire. Even though I love STW, if creative didn't exist in the first place, I probably wouldn't have played.

Idea for making save the world viable again: Make it free to play, everything from stonewood to twine’s final story mission, however, like games such as destiny, add dlc story that can either be earned by grinding or buying them, make those expansions free to founders, said story expansions will allow players to earn vbucks, a set amount per dlc, people want the new dlc’s from vbucks,etc, add new features to the game, market as a “zombie PVE section of Fortnite’s metaverse” This may be a way to make save the world financially viable

Great video. I bought STW a couple of months ago but put it down after 4-5 hours because it was a little boring and I was starting to get really into BR. I've always thought about going back and after you saying it gets better the farther you go in I think I'll pick it up again. I want to get those pickaxes anyway. Is there anything else you can get from playing it besides the pickaxes and the music?
if you upgrade your pickaxe then you get like at least 5 different pickaxes. Also if you complete dungeons quest you can get a cool looking loading screen. Finally i think that you can get a loading screen from the mythic storm king but im not completely sure about that.
The problem with stw is that it gets repetitive, i usually only play it for vbucks cause i have founders pack, but occasionally i play it for the actual game
Fortnite should put vbuck Misson on non founder user but the reward would be less like 5 or 10 vbuck for every mission and some point the reward is 50 vbuck (I don't have founder so I don't know how many vbuck you get for each Misson)
Depends on the mission’s zone, if it is stonewood it is 25 vbucks, plankerton -30 vbucks, canny valley - 35 vbucks, and twine peaks - 40 vbucks Each zone being harder, but you also get vbucks from daily quests, which give you 80 vbucks at minimum and 130 at maximum
I bought it when it first came out and I never played it, I just started playing it and it’s pretty cool concept too bad it got overshadowed by battle royale.
4:37 That's basically the entire game with very few exceptions lol. Also, as a pl139 it's gotten pretty stale. Being able to afk entire battle passes is really the only thing keeping this game installed on my pc. The last couple updates really made stw less fun. Been enjoying br more with friends.
Its annoying fir me sometimes. I cant find any Peaky Twine or Char-black mineral powder. I need them to craft most of my guns and traps. I cant protect my homebase because of it
I will say that save the world is REALLY good for battle pass XP like seriously. early in chapter 5 season 1 I wanted to get to tier 100 really badly so I started grinding save the world again because I remembered it had battle pass xp rewards. it does share the same limit as creative xp though so if you get 250k xp from creative and then play save the world, you can only get another 200k before both save the world and creative stop giving xp. but I gotta say, save the world is a lot more fun than most creative maps and its a lot more rewarding in xp so at least its worth it in that sense.
I don't see anyone playing fortnite every day and for 80 to 120 years of their life, and they haven't spent real money, but you can probably get 1 million vbucks for free in that time period from the free vbucks

Is it true that you *cannot replay* Save The World? From what I read online, you apparently have to make a new account and buy STW again in order to replay it.
I have STW and I have no idea where I got it from. I never bought a STW pack (at least not that I'm aware of), and I don't think anyone gifted it to me. I just have it for no reason. Not gonna say no to free v-bucks tho.
