I do think for most golfers that struggle with a big slice, if he can fix the slice and get you to hit it straight, it will definitely increase the distance by 20%. I think that’s probably what the ad is geared towards

I’ve been with a few instructors, and one of the most important things in a coach is how personable and friendly they are. Michael was definitely both of those. I’d much rather have him over some washed pro that has no personality!

I appreciated how Michael was humble when it came to the driving distance claim.

At your level you will have a trusted coach and you know how good you are, I suspect this guy would get 20% easy from a person searching Facebook for a lesson. He is a sound guy, as are 95% of the people you meet in Golf. My main concern here is the recent lack of sneaker porn, time to up the game.

He definitely is a solid coach and I like that he didn’t lie to you and he was honest as he was trying to pick a part your possible problem. He said it’s gonna be hard and I’m probably not gonna be able to fix or add 20% because you’re already swinging well, the only things you could do is start lifting weights lol but he was honest the entire way and I feel like that’s what a good golf trainer is going to do if you’re already doing well and hitting it primarily straight then they aren’t going to try to change everything about you to make you hit the way they hit. They’re just gonna make sure that you’re not gonna hurt yourself swinging and you’re still hitting it straight so you can fix the minor details. Overall dude is definitely a solid coach and it seems like a decent person which is nice. I really do hope that he blows up after this.

I wish he was in my area. Golf lessons don't seem to start for less than $100 here - even group lessons at the range are pricey. $50 for one-on-one with some like Michael is something that every high handicapper can take advantage of.

1975. I purchased four small illustrated books on golf, by Jack Nicklaus. Everything you could ever want. I was 19. In six months, I held about a 10 handicap, and I was plus or minus that value for the next 40 years. Books cost me a dollar each.

i really enjoyed this. i think we were all prepared to make fun of the man but he's an awesome guy and was honest and down to earth. almost makes you feel bad for not being totally honest with him on your part lol

The 20% distance claim is only denied by you though. I guarantee he’s not lying about 99% of other people he teaches he can get that number added to their driver swing.

Id pay 100 bucks to get my swing dialed in. Ive been playing for 28 years and i can play decent, but im not flushing every shot. Lol

He needs to charge more. Also since he does 5-6 lessons a week, it shows he's not in it for the money, simply a hobby and something he is passionate about. Ppl like him deserve everything.

i think alot of people think their problem is the long game but its 140 yards and in can you really hit a wedge 80 yards 85 or 90 yards

I would say this type of coach is best for mid to high handicap players. Scratch or better, not so much. Edited: Later in the video you did point out distance being a newer golfer.
