I fixed the mirrors on my e92 pre lci by getting a set of LCI mirrors, they wire right up as well and give you more visibility

I’ve always been a fan of your content and it’s always great seeing the updates. I have an elusive problem with my e90 330 xi 2006. It's got 120k+ kms. A month ago I was refueling while the engine running, and as the fuel was getting to the 3/4 mark, the engine stopped and my iDrive and dashboard were illuminated (transmission malfunction, 4x4 inactive, DTC disabled, and start assistant inactive). I turned the ignition on again after refueling and the car took time to crank, when it did it was in limp mode, I was in a remote village with nowhere to seek support, I drove 100 km in limp mode. As I entered the city, I stopped at a grocery store, and when I got back into the car and cranked it, everything had gone back to normal. Long story short, since that day, it's been giving me hell on earth! For the next few days, it would take time to start and would intermittently stall while driving and before it dies, it pops out all the above faults. I diagnosed it with Carly and there was a code for Crankshaft position sensor signal, I shipped an OE part from FCP Euro and replaced it. Since then it doesn't take time to start like before but whenever I press the pedal a lil hard, especially on an inclination, or sometimes on a stretch, the car acts like it's cutting the power supply, and RPMs drop for a second, the car regains momentum when I release the pedal. When it happens, the check engine light comes on and disappears after a while, sometimes it doesn't. The car stalls when It's going uphill, even at low RPMs We have no BMW specialized shops in my country and I have tried to use my indie mechanic, I did my transmission service (oil and filter), replaced spark plugs and fuel pump, but no improvements. When I hook it up on Carly, it shows, camshaft, crankshaft correlation codes, and a transmission code! A more experienced BMW expert advised that the engine timing must be off, the car’s engine has never been worked on as far as I know and I’m a bit afraid to open the engine unless I am certain. The car’s idling is ok at 600 RPMs and runs ok when not under strain as on a steep hill or under much acceleration on a stretch. I could use your help to understand what is going on!

People do the bigger to smaller to bigger pipe on the exhaust to keep back pressure, was probably done on the car while it was still an n52 it actually does make a difference on those cars

Nice! I got a green manual e91 that I want to get more power from but for now I think I’ll keep the n52 and just upgrade everything around it till it dies and just have it ready for an n54. Can’t wait to see you do with your car! Also someone nearby here in Chicago was selling their N54 swapped manual E91 for $14k looked super clean

I own a e92 328i with blown engine (52) for bout 2 years now sitting has a blown engine and I wanted to swap a n54 engine inside but no local shop is willing to do the work

Ali-Camera. I sold my E61 wagon recently. Nothing but headache with that thing. My 335xi E90 and E85 Z4 has been pretty reliable. Should had gotten a E91wagon instead
