the insurance youre talking about through the dealership is the extended insurance. my dad told me not to get it bc you honestly really dont need it, youre just paying more money for nothing. like oil changes, youre paying more towards that monthly than if you just paid for an oil change outright.

Agreed kia overcharged my cousin for a 2023 Kia Forte that I ended up with when I got my license this year (rip to that car as of a few weeks ago 😅) but they charged 40 more than the car is worth and still paying on it

Congratulations! My only advice is never tell the public those private details. Ppl don’t need to know what your car note is. See how ppl are attempting to shame you in the comments ( even tho they probably don’t have a new car themselves) just enjoy your car and your accomplishment . Congratulations I’m happy for u. I will give u some good news I bought a 2022 brand new when they were first released at the end of 21. I have the GT-line wolf grey with the red interior and the premium package. I have almost 50k on my K-5 because I have a long commute to work and i haven’t had one problem at all with this car. It is an amazing car read ur book watch videos on RU-vid and learn all of your features because there are plenty of them..

i put down 1K, & have a 700+ credit score. the problem was that i didn’t have credit history (no credit cards, + the only thing on my credit was car payments) since i’ve been building it for less than a year. i didn’t wanna put down a large down payment, so i just took the high car note. as long as i was happy i didn’t care abt the money, since i can always refinance :)
