The dude who sold you the truck was cool and obviously put his heart into the work he did on it and not just his cash. I wish more sellers were like him. Well done that man.
That’s the owner you want to find when you’re purchasing a vehicle from a private seller. He seemed forthright about everything, and knows his vehicle inside and out. An owner like that, 9 times out of 10, has properly maintained the vehicle.
Impressed me that the guy actually went around and pointed out flaws, or, places that might need work/touch ups. And the fact that he was able to show receipts to back up what he claimed he'd put into it. 150, 250, ad 350. Get yerself a Ranger and you'll have the full set.
Used to drive one of these across the country for an old job. Thing was a monster, used to love hearing the turbo early mornings getting on the highway.
That guy was legit as hell. The truck is no joke either. You can tell a lot of good work was put into it... btw whats that map app you were using that shows you all the cops and road hazards while your driving called?
MonkeyHunch1 Only thing he messed up was the p-pump years. They ran the P7100 clear up to 1998.5 before they went to the nasty 'ol unreliable; VP44. Dude seemed really cool otherwise.
you can tell this truck was this guys baby. He kept all the documentation and everything. Seems like a good guy to buy a truck from, he knows everything about it
***** Yeah, it's rare to come across cool people when dealing used cars. Damn glad he found this guy. That truck looks like it's had some serious love put into it. Thing is BAD ASS.
Yea, you know you've got a good vehicle and seller when he goes through everything that has been done, problems etc like this guy. Thats the sorta person you want.
James Pian Your post makes me wish the thumbs down button worked. So sad to see you have 2 thumbs up. That guy was genuinely a great guy! What makes you think he is an actor?
Why would anyone call a Ford truck with an engine built by Cummins, a "Fodge." There's no Dodge in it. Even the transmission was built by New Venture so fuck off with thinking Dodge deserves any part of the name.
I have a frummings too...90 F250 with a 94 5.9. love it very much. I had the hoses bit from a radiator shop for the ac lines. I have the Ford 5 speed vs the Cummings trans. Kingman, Arizona waving a hand at ya.
I see Jeb Bush hangs out with Pug1 now, Thumbs up if you think his side kick today looks like a bearded Jeb Bush, OR maybe even Robby old man. Also "Shout out" to the most down to earth black dude in North America!
He did mention it was tuned so that just might be why it's revving a bit higher. See if there's a tunning port on the obd. Or ask him he seems ready to answer. Also with higher fuel mixtures in diesels it can cause smoke/high revs so take that to heart to.
My current DD i had to have shipped 2200 miles before i even saw it in person. Worth the money having it shipped. Having a 21 year old truck with no rust is awesome.
uhm, nah, he is actually basically a backwards canadian hillbilly. I have no doubt in my mind he is scammin the system any way he can, as is everyone else in his circle of degeneracy. Dude is in his 40s desperately tryin to keep this youtube thing afloat and its sad.
black people are like this in Merica, do not confuse color with Race . Dark skin is different from Race . city Thugs / country people. the difference is in how they live.
Wow! That's one heck of a nice Super Duty. Good for you and the 'ole lady! Common rail, manual trans all wrapped in what looks like a very nicely redone Super Duty.....can't beat that! Outta be very trouble free. Congrats!
i get it yeah its a diesel but dude 250k is a assload of miles idgaf if its a diesel. that trucks a shit load of problems. he literally bought that guys problems off him
My Subaru Sti, does the same thing as far as not wanting to shift into the wrong gear at the wrong rpm, when he was talking about how 3rd doesnt want to go....When downshifting I get that all the time...BMP
WOW! I SEE YU CAN OFFORD INSURANCE NOW FOR A 3RD TRUCK TERRIBLE! AD A VAN!!!! I DID ALL THAT WORK FOR YOU BUT YUO COULDNT BUY ME TRUCK INSURANCE!!!! YOU STILL OWE ME THE TRUCK TOPPER TERRIBLE!
Put 350K miles on my Cummins, 563,270 Km and I still think it was greatest thing. Just wanted new truck and someone offered me $10,000 US for it, at 16 years young.
Persephone!(per-sefony) all vehicles need a feminine name and Persephone is Hades' wife (I had a 77 f250 on 37.5" pitbulls years ago and that was her name)
*250K on a cummins that's just getting started. how about seeing if buddy you bought the new one from can help you destroke big dirty or at least help get hims back in shape to sell*
Good call on buying that truck, From seeing the pictures and listening to the guy talk he knows his shit and I'd buy a truck like that from him. The paper trail is pretty impressive and he didn't seem like he was trying to hide anything from what he was saying and showing you. I hope it goes good for you, After seeing this one and comparing yesterdays pile, Big dirty was never going to be this truck, it needed way to much spending with the conversion and body damage. Sometimes being in the right place and time with cash is better. I'm pretty sure he took a fair hit on what that truck really cost to build. If you build one of those bumpers like Dirty has for this truck, you need your ass kicking to next Friday, It looks real sharp as it is don't mess with it !.
I had a 2001 dodge cummins 6 speed with the NV5600 and it was 4:10 rear end that's about the rpms it would turn. She just screamed down the highway it turned about 2300 rpms at 70mph
Wow man to find an f250 completely rebuilt with a common rail 5.9 cummins backed with a nv4500 my God how did you find a truck so quick? In Wisconsin those are always cobbled and beat to hell
This guy is crazy for selling this truck, did he mention why he's parting with it? Meticulous records, paperwork and functional upgrades. Pugs a lucky son of a gun.
Congrats man, I was like a little kid when I bought my first truck this year. Love to see people buying a car or truck that they fall in love with. Again, congrats!
