which xbox one would you say is better not for graphics but least faults to go wrong no disc drive issues or faults of the inside of the console as i have seen loads of videos they all seem to be faulty and it just seems so off putting i dont which one to buy to avoid any function faults
okay. thanks.@@NOTTIBOPPINtwitch Edit:- i searched. its an xbox official wireless headset. Maybe steelseries makes it but i thinkg xbox makes it, though i am not sure that do they have a headphones division.
We're typically used to seeing that certain console for quite some time, so once a new visually contrasting color of it comes out it looks more appealing
I love the series S it’s changed my life and made me love Xbox again. The load speeds are so worth it because I feel like work too much for me to be waiting to get on after a long day 😂 thank you for helping me make my decision a couple years ago during the shortage it’s helped my wife and I rekindle our love for gaming together again
It is absolutely the most practical option if you want to jump into next gen gaming. PS5, XBOX Series X and gaming PC are great machines but crazy expensive as well.
Pre Ordered mine and extremely happy with it so far and GPU is FREAKING Fantastic, an insane value. I like the black colour scheme had the One S but sold it as soon as the X/S was revealed but just didn't manage to get a Series S until now and with the needed 1TB-825GB i'll have enough space to play the games i want without worrying with the previous model. And with Lies of P, STARFIELD, and Forza Motorsport all coming out soon i'm gonna be STACKED
I had concerns about the Series S before I bought it but once I turned it on I was blown away by the next gen graphics and framerates. I still remember loading up Assassins Creed Valhalla and NBA 2k 22 on my Series S and was just greatly impressed! I'm currently playing Starfield on my Series S and man does it look amazing
Very nice color. 👌🏼 Actually, if you compare this series S with the series X, you do notice that the S is slightly lighter of color. (Just a teint). And the WD black storage-card rules, I have it as well. 👍🏼
Great console, playing Starfield on it now and loving it, surprised how good the game looks compared to the X version, not a major difference, definitely recommend even if it's just for Starfield.
As someone who just bought an Xbox series s carbon black 1TB yesterday I am blown away how insanely small the console is along with how powerful it is. I was ps4 before this and have liked PS but Xbox is so much better when it comes to multiplayer and and playability. Quick rewind is a game changer if my gf wants me to play a game with her I can load it up in 5 seconds. The interface and ecosystem is unmatched along with remote play where you can legit go ANYWHERE and play it. Even on normal data I have no issues loading up battlefield or COD and performing well. I’m beyond impressed with the console and I am scared it will break because of how good it performs being so small lol. I feel it is lying to me somehow. I don’t see myself going back to PlayStation EVER.
The Starfield limited ed controller has so many unique colours and componets. The Spiderman PS5 controller looks like a black PS5 controller with some basic print on it with the white button modules from the white PS5 controller swapped into it.
The thing is that if Xbox had given the series S the same amount of power as the series X but without the disk drive and a smaller ssd compared to the X with maybe a 50 dollar price increase it could have been such a better deal still at 1440p
Considering how big games are getting size wise, 1TB of storage should be the bare minimum now. If the S had the same power as the X minus the disk drive, you would be looking at it being at least the same price point as the PS5 digital edition. What you get with this XSS is fantastic. It’s still cheaper than a Switch OLED. It plays selected Xbox and 360 games. It’s BC with XONE and will play all current gen games. There isn’t a better deal in gaming at the moment.
@@Mobile_Edizwell the series s can only go up to 1440p, and only 4k streaming. and some games can’t hit the full 120 frames. warzone for example only gets around 80-90 frames. with that being said i dont think its holding back next gen
@@purps_9 true but war zone pls no hate if I’m wrong put I think the Xbox series x and ps5 are similar with frames and about the 4k I have no idea becouse it says on settings 4k with my tv options
I find it weird how come they launched a new version of the xbox series s without updating its hardware and features. I mean, it's like what, 2-3 years already? Wasn't it about time to upgrade its GPU, CPU, wifi 6/6E? Not even minimising a little bit it's dimensions as they did in previews 'slim' consoles. I would expect for little bit more than storage increase since we can literally just add an expansion card
@derrickray4666 The expansion cards are now seeing a decrease in their prices. And also, if you have a console, you wouldn't buy a new one just for the storage, would you? It's not another 50$ since you need to purchase a new console, and you wouldn't be refunded 100% of your old console's value
I have always been a PlayStation guy. But on December 22 2023. I was in Best Buy they had an incredible deal The Xbox Series X brand new for $349.99 & there was 2 left, So I bought one. So far very impressed. Graphics are very nice just like on PS5. What blew me away was I got 3 months of Game Pass Ultimate for free with Purchase & able to play hundreds of awesome games for free. The Xbox X is now selling for $399.99 at the moment at Best Buy still a great deal!
I would say go for the x. I had the series s for 3 days and returned it since some of the games I liked to play didn't play well. I went and got the X since it is pretty much the same thing as the PS5. If you are used to playing on the PS5 then the x is the better option. Since the series s is still going to be a downgrade to the ps5. Well at least in graphics.
I would also recommend you check how the game you play would run on it. For example, the reason why I chose the series S first was just to play some games but to play Remnant 2 with a friend. But it turn out the the game runs really shitty on the series S. Apparently the final boss is unplayable. Well that what some RU-vid reviews say. So do your research well before deciding. But your best bet is the X.
If you don’t have a sea gate or another card for your series s I’d sell to a buddy and upgrade But try and find a video on the controller if you can, I’ve been using a pair of elite series 2s so I don’t know if I’ve just been fooled by the weight of them but the new controller feels SUPER light, like maybe more light than the Xbox one controllers it just feels kinda arcade machiney even compared to what I remember the old ones being like, especially the D-pad
Kinda getting tired 😫 of ps4 might get this don't really use disc anymore.. Don't know I loved my 360. Want next gen just kinda waiting. Xbox 🎮 game pass seems nice to. I have a 4k tv so I want the best hd..
i remember how bad the storage is on the white xbox series s i used to have one and i had no space to the point where i couldnt even capture game clips
you have no idea what you''re talking about, you cant put any SSD or HDD to the series s and x you wont be able to install or play series x/s optimized games, you have to buy either the seagate nvme expansion card, or the WD c50 nvme ssd to have it all working like normal internal storage. the wd c50 ssd is a little cheaper tho, $80
@@Albert42069wrong some games do play on a new ssd, I have an external 2tb device. And yes you can play skyrim and other games on any ssd. But even if you cant. Moving the game to the main ssd takes like a minute or two. Its actually worth it. Even 100gb games take like 2 minutes to move. Which doesn't even matter since the s can hold like 5 or 6 big games already with the storage it has so hardly ever move games and like I said moving them is not a big deal at all.
i aint gonna lie, you might as well get THIS console rather than 500/1tb storage, 1tb included, console and extra controller, worth getting the console rather than just a small stick
So is the only difference between a Series X and a Series S the 4k vs 1440p, 1TB vs 512GB (or 1TB with this Carbon edition) and an Optical Drive vs No Optical Drive? Thanks in advance for any help, I'm trying to decide which one to buy... 🤔
Correct. Another thing to consider is the series x has the potential for 8K and has a 2.1 HDMI. If you have a high-end TV/monitor you would want to invest in the series x but if your setup doesn't have 2.1 and you want to save money (or dont want a pillar in your living room) go with the series S 1tb.
The X is more powerful and eventually the lack of power will begin to show with the S. I’ve had both and the power of the X is noticeable in some games already. Still the S is a great budget console. I had mine for over a year before upgrading to the X
@@clawson32104 Bro, get this right how powerful do you need?, if there is no powerful games to run! It’s like having 4K tv VS 8K tv that’s powerful, and still there is no content for the 8K power. The S version can handle things easy, It’s how satisfied your are. Even cloud streaming without console works fine, it’s not perfect, but it playable enough.
Series S is not that powerful but highly compact and a cheaper option for entry into Single Player Gaming. Buy it for Backward titles running in stunning Auto-HDR, 60FPS, and Quick Resume etc. Try to get series X for extremely good visuals Forza and GTA V new-gen look awesome on the X.
If only they released a white xbox series s 1tb version instead of the 512 gb one I have bc now whats the point of getting the series s black version when you have one at home. Xbox is playing a tricky game here
£300 for the series s 1T plus £144 for game pass per year, every year, year after year..... Thats £1500 per decade. plus any games you want to buy. initially first year only £444 then £144 every year after that, provided prices never rise again. fortunately all the games on it are shit right now so theres no real need to upgrade.
Na bro u got the ps5, topped the console the series x is. Better exclusives and clock speeds, id go with a pc and get gamepass if not u do u but ps5 already offers great experience. No need for both.
Are you incapable of using your brain? This is literally the same console with bigger storage. You need someone else to tell you if you need more storage?
The playstation looks cool but it gives me Splatoon 3 Switch Oled edition vibes. Amazing colours, everyone loves it, but i just dont because the design is ok the sides instead of the middle bur still looks better than the original.
I have the X and to be honest if the carbon had been available I think I would have bought it instead of the X. The X is a skyscraper, the base is not detachable either so looks dreadful on its side. The PS5 Spider-Man edition at £570 is a joke, for that money it should be delivered to my door by Tom Holland 😂🤣😂.
