I feel like Lego is becoming dependant on companies like Marvel, DC, or Harry Potter, especially when that raises the prices of their sets to pay for the right to make these sets. I wish they'd continue to make simple sets especially in a way where they don't become dependant

Modern Lego sets stifle creative thinking. My Lego sets were gifted to me between 1975 and 1977. They were boxes of assorted blocks and we had to use our minds to come up with designs.

Okay but i honestly really enjoy how these older legos work They feel more lively and have simple but adorable detail Like the drawers on the icecream chicks register, the way the firehouse doors slide up, the camera truck, even the surf shack. Yea, you can buy some of these pieces (some more expensive then others) but i dunno, seeing them makes me smile.
