What a brilliant series, thank you. I could, as others have said, listen to you all day - I’ve just binged the whole series this morning and learnt so much - but without that condescending or patronising tone we suffer from broadcasters reading off a script. Really engaging. I hope you continue on and properly reap the fruits of your labour with your channel fella; you deserve it.

Firstly welcome to the channel not my channel...shows how humble you are, having watched most of the videos you are very talented in spotting oportunities with vehicles most of us would walk away from so hope you do really well, and as for the way you speak and you deliver the commentary again comes over very honest, because obviously you know what you are talking about congratulations 👌

Great to see that you care about the future owner of the car, wish everyone who sold cars were as focused on making sure the cars are faultless as you are before selling. Fantastic job on the car, all the best for the auction!

Serviced one on Frid at work . Lovely motors, I have to say Rob yours is a fine example !! Without the plates on one could easily think it was a dry stored brand new old stock motor . The previous owner will have a tear in his eyes if he sees it now . The two of you done a great job , after the shakedown someone will get a great motor.

Really enjoyed this series - well done! I had my own garage business in the 70s and also had the priority of always putting the customer first and making sure everything was 100%. I never had to advertise cars - they all sold from word of mouth!

This is a perfect example of someone who knows what there doing and can see the potential and has a good eye when they know the car is good it's great to see the skills of a true expert in your case Rob you know what the car is worth how much to repair and how much to sell it for its a trade on its own and I for one am glad you have shown us how its done congrats on the fiesta and range rover you will make a good decent profit you deserve it looking forward to the next project 👍👍👍

Loved this series from Part One; brilliant teaching as well as top mechanical skills and (most important) a positive attitude to solving problems. I can’t help but feel sorry for the original owner, who unwittingly paid an inferior garage to over tighten the oil pump, leading it to self-destruct. If only they were all as skilled, patient and conscientious as you!

Newcomer to the channel; I found this rebuild series by accident and I’ve been glued to every episode! So pleased to see you saved this Rangie and all that hard work has paid off. I’m actually super jealous of how you get to spend your days; can’t imagine there are many girls who’d love to tinker with engines, but seeing that I’m unlikely to ever have the opportunity, your channel will fill that void!

edd China didnt do the actual work on the cars, note when ever he worked on them you only saw his arm and hands when ever he was supposed to working on them..Theirs a private dealer of land rovers here in Bolton Lancashire ( Winter hill) and they actually bought one from him and he appeared in the show..The BBC film crew told him Edd China is like Mike, a presenter and they made it look like he was actually doing the work, hence you only saw what is supposed to be his hands.. Watch closely and you will notice he doesn’t fit any parts in full view (body wise) of the camera..

Only recently subscribed and already pretty addicted to watching these videos. Love seeing cars being repaired rather than scrapped or sold for parts. Nice to see a seller testing it properly before selling it.! I believe that if you do this you will make quite a name for yourself and people will keep your number and use you again for cars ! Many traders don't think this way ! But probably because your a mechanic you appreciate yourself what service you would want when buying a car .hence why your successful in life !

Excellent six-part video. You are not only unflappable, but you comment upon and film each technical procedure with great common sense so that everything can be usefully understood. Hi really am enjoying watching your videos thanks for all the hard work and effort you put into them!! Can’t believe there are still haters out there that have nothing to do but criticise and leave negative 👎 they obviously have nothing better to do and there partners can’t be bothered with them anymore, so they just troll You Tube and probably enjoy the videos but then be negative cause they have no one else to talk to and can’t give a compliment to someone that really deserves one!!! I had a similar story, bought a TDV8 that was in bad shape both mechanically and bodywork, repainted the damaged panels , complete overhaul of the brakes front and rear, engine running great, l=car looks amazing now, al it took was a little of my tome and some money, professionally undersealed the whole car and it flew the MOT, satisfaction like this one makes it all worth while

Started watching some RU-vid to pass the time before bed after watching a film about the American Tucker car on Netflix. Saw the first of you videos and out of interest decided to watch as a friend of mine just had his TDV6 blow up on his discovery and destroy the crank, I ended up watching all 6 such was the easy listening and informative way you made the videos. Brilliant. Out of interest he was quoted £10,000 for a replacement engine so decided to cut his losses and sell the car to a local LR dealer nearby who was going to use it to train his apprentices and who also conveniently had another one for sale which he bought. I must say though that after all I've heard of the TDV6 I would be hard pressed to by one myself.
