My mom was great at being prepared for those unexpected "I need a gift" moments - she would stock up on toys, nice candles and ornaments and things like that - they lived in a cupboard. It was really handy when we announced "oh yeah, Mom, it's Jenny's birthday party tomorrow. Can I go?" She also kept pies in the freezer (her butcher had a thing where if you spent $50 you got a free frozen pie) for the folks who showed up for dinner without the dessert they'd promised to bring (this happened more than once).

This past summer, i bought that exact knee yoga mat on clearance at TJ Maxx. They are super cute. I use mine out in garden and I have one in my car to sit on the bleachers at my grandbabies sports events. For $1.25, I will buy a couple more.

That wine bag is perfect. My friend was given a bottle of wine as a retirement gift in a fancy paper wine bag and the bottom fell out and the wine smashed on floor ! 😢 That one looks sturdier. Just a warning about Paper wine bags

I actually really love the silicone bath brush for my hair. I put the conditioner on the bristles themselves, not inside the container, and it works great! I have a sensitive scalp and it is very gentle.

Trimmed wicks smoke less. So if you have it near a wall or something, you won't get that black "soot" stuff on your wall.

About a year ago, from the Walmart clearance aisle, I got some silicone reusable straws that fully open for cleaning. They are a gift from god and I don't plan to ever go back to any other kind of reusable straw. Other than being able to open and close them for cleaning, I love being able to push them down inside my cup when I'm done with my beverage to minimize the exposure to "fungalitis." 😂

You're supposed to trim a candle wick to 1/4 inch to control the flame. It helps the candle burn evenly (especially pillar candles) and prevents the flame/wick from smoking. Cheap, older wicks still have lead in them, which can smoke and stain your ceiling.

Those yarn keepers are brilliant!!! I wish I would have thought of that!!! My husband hates that I leave my yarn around to get all tangled up. You always unroll a skein of yarn to make sure there are no knots., so you roll it into a ball, so perfect!!! Love it!!! Have not seen it yet at my stores, but I'm going to look hard now!!! I NEED them!!!💜💜💜

The silicone brush is really good. I got the same one on temu for 25 cents. I use it to wash my dog. You just need to wet it and start scrubbing and it will foam up. The little “handle” is not to hang but so it is ergonomic for holding in your palm.

Just a heads up Vivian...AT Dollar Tree, Trucks are usually always there on Tuesdays...so come quickly on Tuesdays, so you can see the New stuff, on our last truck, you won't believe this...we didn't get New Years, we got EASTER!!!!! and Valentines but Easter????? DId you know that when you open a bottle of champagne, all you need to do is put a regular silverware spoon handle in the bottle of champagne and it stays BUBBLY in the fridge for three days...(we used to play weddings and got the champagne bottles that were left behind, learned it there...) $Tree Merch Mgr Fl

We bought a couple of these and put slippers in these bags for my parents. Lol. They fit perfectly. The one bag has a bit more room because my mom has small feet so we added some fuzzy socks as well.

Vivian FYI you need the wick cutting scissors from Dollar Tree game changer. Its a scissor shaped like an L and the bottom cutting is shaped like a circle and catches the wick cutting so it doesn't drop on to the candle, so worth it!

I like glass over plastic or paper. The only reason I don't buy the glass ones is I'm afraid of someone bumping me while drinking. I'm always worried that it would break against my teeth. I wouldn't get these for kids. So I'm stuck with paper straws, which will break down in my compost. But you are absolutely correct. Now if only we could get manufacturers to go back to glass bottles. Thanks for another fun video. You're so correct on those last-minute guests. We always make sure everyone leaves with a gift. So we have extras ready.

I use the squeezy loofah for my doggy paws. All you have to do is squeeze the loofah in the water, and then squeeze on the paws, and the soap comes out.

I’m constantly stressed for the holidays. This year oh nooo! This year I made a quick, unplanned trip to Puerto Rico! I had an unexpected week off before Christmas! My sister from another mister said..” Kitty, you go to Pr with me!” Sooo I did! We did our daily stuff but I did go to a music festival in Ponce ( that’s where we live…) and to Playa Santa.. my trip was short .. usually I go Playa hopping. Well the day before my return home, papi gets COVID! We all are negative! By the time I got home… I have flu and COVID! Well 😮 was in bed til Christmas Day!!! NO Stress! Jeje love you Vivian

Oh I need the yard storage for my craft and garden string. To keep it from getting dirty. Love the champagne glasses. I wore Almay makeup for years. Good quality and your face didn't break out. Big boxes of cereal. I am going tomorrow and buying for the school. They are making food bags so the kids can have some quick snacks during Christmas break. Dollar Tree … here I come 😂 For us that enjoy doing yard work and don’t want to stand, squat or kneel I like to sit on a towel while pulling my weeds. I would definitely use that mats for that purpose too. I just hosted a Christmas breakfast for my husband and 10 buddies. I could have used the juice containers, glasses and ice bucket 😊 They’re men! They would have been very impressed and felt like kings 😊

You have to trim the quick so the flame isn’t so high and flame isn’t so big lol

Cut the wick after using a candle because when you light it again it can spit little bit of ambers and start a fire or damage your house.

I'm a crocheter 🧶, awesome 👍🏾 at DG, but one needs 7,8,or more, depending on project, like crocheting a sweater. Especially,larger or up sizes❤ ❤ that DG sells, but the skeins are not enough for certain projects. Doll clothes, hats, scarf.....

If u leave the wick long it makes more smoke , this is why even clipped will smoke but so much less when clipped wicks .. ( your walls will thank you ) .. we don’t need a long A_s wick to lite lol .. yankee candle sold candle Luma lids it helped hold in smoke !!! ‼️ So always cut ur wicks !
