for any irish people looking for an atte im pretty sure the disney store in dublin on grafton street has them for 130 euro but only one per customer. Thats where i got mine at it was there for at least 3 weeks.

I was wanting an ATTE since the clone wars version with ahsoka. I went for the gunship instead, which I don't regret cos that's a brilliant set too, but finally being able to get one, and it being the best one yet for a reasonable price was so good.
Production quality of these videos is insane, very well done. It's crazy to think how rare this set is for you guys in America. I ordered one last week for $120, but could've ordered 10 if I wanted to, arrived the next day. Sorry to make you jealous now ;) (I'm from the Netherlands)

I also tried to get The AT TE in 2013 for Christmas when I was 10 but unfortunately I couldn't get it because my Parents didn't have enough money as we had fallen on hard times and we had just lost our house and most of our things a year prior due to financial difficulties, we had just moved to a new city in 2013 and for Christmas I really wanted this set as I saw it in the Lego store but my mom said we didn't have enough money, which was sad for me. We struggled for a long time after that but 10 years later we're back on top and I'm making my own money now and I ordered the 2022 set today and it felt so satisfying to finally buy it after never being able to afford it due to hard times.😎👍
This videos always fun to come back to. The at-te has always been my favorite walker. As a kid when I was old enough to appreciate it I wanted the Hasbro one but never got it, and the LEGO ones always seemed out of reach, by 2008 I stopped asking for LEGO sets knowing I’d never get them. I didn’t own a LEGO atte until a few years ago, I got the 2013 one and I regrettably sold it, then I got the 2003 one which I later gave to my mom for her walker collection, ended up with another 2013 walker near complete, and sold that to get this new one, glad I did because that one seemed to lower in price a little after the new one came out. I don’t regret the decision, the new one is just so perfect to me
I completely get you I was 7 back in 2013 and had really wanted some of the bigger sets such as the 2013 AT-TE, as well as other big vehicle sets, but could never get them since they were expensive. Luckily I was able to save up money back during the summer to buy myself the new 75337 AT-TE. It was so much fun to build, and I even got through the entire Revenge Of The Sith, and most of Attack Of The Clones whilst building it. Yeah parts of it are inaccurate but I still really like it
I had wanted an AT-TE and gunship since that first 2008 clone wars wave, I had wound up getting other big sets instead, notably the 07 MTT (which is still a phenomenal set). Got the walker recently and still have my fingers crossed for a gunship in the distant future.
I live in germany and was able to order the set on the 2nd of August. I got it for only 95€ form a online shop called Alternate. But crazy to see how hard it was to get it in the US.
I finally picked up the Lego Slave 1. Sure, it is the $50 smaller version, but the younger version of me wouldn't have cared either. I had wanted that ship for so long

After reading the comments a year later people say that's business. That is bad business, first you are losing a returning customer and future sales. I would not shop there again on principle. It might be how selling works taking advantage of demand but as buyers nothing gets sold without a buyer willing to pay the retail price or very close to it. I really enjoyed watching the video and glad that you found your set at the retail price a year ago. Great Video!
I got this set for Christmas and I didn’t even realize how popular it is. It took me 7 hours to build but I am definitely even more restful after seeing this video.
I am watching this in 2023 but I got the at-te for christmas and love it more than anyone could ever imagine it is by far the best one that Lego has ever relised it is so good
I made the same stupid decision in 2013/14. I could’ve gotten the Stardestroyer, the At-te or the gunship, which I really wanted at the time, when my father took me to the local toy store and told me I could pick whatever I wanted. But my 7 year old self decided to buy the Anakins starfighter from the original Clone Wars 🫡.
I know how it feels. For me, it was the 501st battle Pack. I could also buy the AT-TE by now but I already have the 2013 one. So I don't know if I should buy the new one.
The same thing happened to me with the lego horizon zero dawn set, i couldn't find it anywhere where i live (i live in italy). Dude, that much of a mark up is insane. 140 to 232 is not cool of that store, I can understand a mark up due to high demand, especially for a smaller store, but that much! No, sorry, I think anyone would have said no in that moment.
What a journey, im glad it worked out in the end, and you did quite a bit of a legwork to get it; I almost succumbed to higher prices also, but ended up waiting like 3 months til the lego site had a second wave up. And lmao the end of the journey was exactly the same for me xD Watching your vid newly today, I may revamp my AT-TE to house my newest (bankruptcy inducing obession) of clone army building :'D
Homestly waiting to buy something is bad because if you are thinking to buy it, someone is going to buy it eventually, and thus will make that price more viable, and then it will make people up the price even more
I know how that feels I had to wait months for this thing I have been going to store by stores every single time when they say they have it in stock and when I get there they are already out I been doing this for months and now I been having for about almost six months. Right before Christmas happened.
I went to my local toy shop with tge intent to buy 8 501st battle packs but then i saw the atte and without hesitation I immediately just bought it. Very cool set

There’s no reason to over pay for a current Lego set. They make tons of them they are not rear. Just because they aren’t in day one it will be on store shelves at some time.
I actually did an MBA assignment regarding your assignment that LEGO stores should implment IoT technologies on their shelves to replenish their display and store room stock much quicker as I experienced the same thing at LEGO certified stores in South Africa :/ Thank you for the awesome video :)
I made same stupid decision of buying 2 smaller sets instead of one big one with the 2008 Lego Star Wars gunship. Bought the corporate alliance tank droid and ahsoka’s starfighter with vulture droid instead. I’ve always regretted that!
Lol I got mine for $112, it really does pay to be patient. This set is all over the place now and for a pretty decent discount. It’s very rare for Lego to discontinue something like this so soon so there’s never a need to worry.

I hope to get my hands on this myself, bro. It would be awesome to have a big set for the prequel era in my collection as the two big sets I have are from the OT era, namely the 2015 _Millennium Falcon_ (I modded it to be OT centric), and the 2014 Imperial Star Destroyer. *Plus, adding on the four 501st Legion Clone Troopers sets I have alongside the AT-TE would look freaking awesome!
This exact thing happened to me but except with the lego technic mars rover perserverance. It was in huge demand and never in stock in any stores where I live.

This video makes me so happy to watch because it reminds me of when I got the AT&TE walker for my birthday for three days. me and my mom were just trying to find this thing we called them every Lego store in our state trying to find it, and none of them had it And my mom said to cheer me up, she would take me to McDonald's and on the way there she surprised me at a brick and mini fig store and got me the set
