It still works but some of the overworld stuff isn't completed. The bike riding overworld sprites are a Blastoise running for example. But it's just as lewd for the girl otherwise.

Just to let y’all know if you get a rom hack ask the seller to put in a battery or make sure there is a battery because on rom hacks or repos if they don’t have a battery you won’t be able to get past the elite four because once you make it to the hall of fame it won’t save your progress so make sure there is a battery!!!

A phones got a camera, and there's so many things to hold your phone, and / or prop it up. Then Sony Cameras, and same thing applies with the stands, and / or things to prop it up. But also, a go pro would need the same things to set it up. So my guess here, is a phone, and using something to hold it up while he plays in front of it.
