I am not even exaggerating when I say this, but this video is hands down the greatest RU-vid video I have ever watched. Not even just the best Pokemon video either. You said it perfectly at the end when you dubbed this a passion project. I honestly think its so cool that you dedicated time and effort to a goal that may seem silly to some, but for you it was the result of learning, practicing and perfecting a craft. I applaud you and the achievement in this video. I'm so happy the algorithm brought me to this video and I cant wait to see what other content you produce in the future. As someone who knows nothing about Pokémon glitches other than the basics, this was a confusing, yet entertaining watch, and that’s what I want all videos to feel like

As someone who, back when I was 6, somehow managed to get 99 master balls from the team aqua hideout (without using an action replay, I genuinely dont know how it happened), and in all of my 6 year old wisdom, decided to catch 99 zigzagoons, forever cementing it as my favorite pokemon, this video brings me immense happiness. Amazing work!

This video made it into my recommended 3 months late, but I'd rather that than it not happening at all. It was an absolute blessing to be able to watch this masterfully crafted video of yours. I've always seen Gen 3 as an absolute behemoth of a game to get into glitch-wise, but seeing you explain some of the related mechanics in such a clear and concise manner that even I'm able to understand makes me want try some basic stuff for myself. I haven't touched my Nintendo DS and copy of Emerald in years, so this might be the video to get me back into it. (also, the zigzagoon/linoone is adorable and you should cherish it for the rest of your life or else)

Zigzagoon is one of my favorite Pokémon this is wild!. What an amazing video, subscribing for sure. Your explanations were very thorough and helped me understand what was going on. I don't think I can replicate any of this, but it's amazing to see! Currently shiny hunting a spirtomb in Pearl naturally/SR'ing with the full odds and seeing something like this makes that feel less intense haha.

Its so weird to see this when you went through the same steps. I made a Sacred Fire Blissey with serene grace and a wish salamence and a box full of competitive mons. Jumpluff is amazing!! One of my favorite grass evo lines ever! All 3 are absolutely adorable (and from my favorite gen), but Jumpluff is also a surprisingly good status inducer and encore user with it's high speed and U Turn. I have one in Heartgold that I lead with and it wrecks. It's very annoying to play against and very satisfying to play with. I love my little puffball of torture

This is sick. I never thought anyone would be able to RNG anything like this back when Gen4 RNG was discovered way back in like 2009 or 2010, even then I would have thought it was only possible on an emulator. I used to attempt to RNG on FRLG static legends using a hundreds of save files with all their TIDS and SIDs input into a BITXOR spread sheet to tell me what files had what spreads and what I could hatch shiny in for my emerald breeds (what I thought was only possible on and emulator too). The RNG manipulations both you and imablissy have done on retail games blows my mind, you guys are literally the RNG goats

It's kind of sad in a way that the Zigzagoon is more or less stuck where it is, it would be interesting to have a sort of team made from trophy pokemon like this.

I got into RNG manip through blisy like half a year ago with his competitive pokémon video, it was a topic I'd kind of heard of in the past but never really took any interest in. However, you guys have put it forward in such a way that is just fascinating; I get absolutely absorbed with this kind of content. What I think makes it so special is the perfect blend of informative dissemination of the inner workings of a classic videogame series, with the curiosity from its fanbase to achieve certain ambitions and otherwise unthinkable milestones/feats. So basically, what I'm trying to say is that guys like you make me happy to exist, because learning stuff is cool. Thank you for making content, take care man.

Imagine being a powerful shiny unown in a cave that almost never gets visitors, when all of a sudden a kid comes bursting through, facing you before you have a chance to run. His pokemon comes out and beats you within an inch of your life, and your attack is rendered worthless; the child seems to be even cheering in ecstasy after your attack barely makes a scratch. He bags you before you get a chance to do anything, and you end up blacking out. You wake up in a box, full of copies of yourself and tiny, terrified electric mice. He pulls out a pokemon also on the brink of death, forcing a berry down its throat, causing its body to twist an contort into a form so horrifying your eyes refuse to comprehend it, and it lashes out with eldritch rage, destroying pokemon one by one around you, until it lands on you, and you feel nothing. Not just no pain, but no feeling from the ground, the air or even your own body. You flail around, until you burst from an eggshell. Looking at yourself in horror, a reflection that isn't you. The trainer hands you to a seemingly innocent old man, unaware of what has occurred. The trainer paces back and forth for a while, until he takes you back and tossing a coin to the old man. He pulls out another pokemon on the brink of death. You are helpless as you witness the exact same process, and helpless as the enraged being lashes at you. It's the same feeling of nothingness. This time, it takes longer as you lash out from inside, until finally you break free from the same shell as before. You look at your orange and beige coat, your two eyes, and four appendages. You try to scream out in a concerningly similar fashion from the beings you saw, but are silenced before you can do so, and are quickly fed strange sweets that make you feel stronger, yet cause you to feel slightly dizzy. Your memories are slipping away. What memories? You are a shiny unown. You're scared. Your trainer is happy. You're happy. You are a shiny zigzagoon. You're a perfect zigzagoon and you're happy. I mean would that be crazy or what?

You just have to love these passion project types of videos!! It always warms my heart to see such care and love for a single piece of content!

Did I just... stumbled across a video about a very overpowered, insanely rare, meticulously crafted Pokémon made by a man so passionate about it he made a PhD level presentation to explain how his absurdly niche knowledge is a crucual part of his life? Yes. And I'm not complaining. I haven't understand a third of it but your dedication and passion for a game I love so dearly is astonishing. I have played it for hundreds of hours, a very long time ago but I'm fascinated by the lenghs some of you have taken to reverse engineer everything this game hav to offer. The moment it was pointed out that the unkown would break the pid my immediate thought process was we need to find something thats pid corrupts to match our targets PID even if we have to use multiple stages of corruption to reach it

At 5:39 you can see that he uses a filter for his eyes, very strange. The two hypotheses I can think of are that either a) the filter holds eye contact with the camera more than he would naturally, which would help him read his script without seeming distracted, or b) he prefers showing brown eyes rather than his natural blue eye colour (brown eyes have been shown to be perceived as more trustworthy). What do you think?

I, maybe, at maximum, understood 10% of what happened, but I love when a project builds itsself up and works in the end. I was already getting mad when i tried to reset my crystal edition frame perfect to get celebi (with the bad clone glitch) and oh boy i might be the worst in doing something in a a specific frame. But i absolutely love seeing when someone else is successful. Ill have a look at your other vidoes, too. Nice content ❤

Seems like you do a lot of this, so I hope this makes your life easier. The EXP at 23:00 does NOT have to be odd. You can take one extra odd step by using fly, teleport, or any other way or taking an arbitrary number of steps. You could fly to a Pokémon. Enter nearby (if it’s close enough) and then take one step, fly again, and then you’d be onto the odd or even you need. An escape rope would work too if there’s a cave nearby. Maybe teleport works with the daycare? I haven’t played gen 3 in so long though, not sure if any Pokémon centers or caves are close enough to the daycare for most of these tricks. Just thought I’d point out you can flip to odd or even using fly or teleport or esc rope ☺️

Between you and Blissy, I've gotten REALLY into the RNG side of Pokémon lately. I dug around at my stepdad's for hours looking for my copy of Emerald so I could practice manips and mess with glitzer popping and such. Your videos only get better and better every time, keep it up!! Part of what makes a good teacher is being able to take complex concepts like this and making it so that people not only take it in but also want more.
