I BOUGHT THEM ALL Thrift With Me for Resale Treasures! 

Since you mentioned glassybaby‘s, I have a neat story I wanted to tell you about them. I was visiting a friend in Washington and one morning we took brunch and extra groceries to share with her very spry 82 year old neighbor. She sometimes had trouble making ends meet since her husband had passed almost a year ago . My friend would bring the food and Beverly would make fresh squeezed OJ . When we walked in Her table was all set up and she was pouring juice into these cute glasses. I thought wow those kind of look like glassybaby’s but I didn’t say anything until my friend who was sitting across from me, took a drink, and I saw the bottom of the glass and I was like oh my gosh, these are glassybabies I told my friend we’re drinking out of candle holders. Oddly enough, she had never even heard of glassybaby and looked at me like I was crazy as did our host. I asked her where she got her “juice glasses “ from and she said oh I picked up a whole bunch of these things at a yard sale about 10 years ago, There were only four on the table and I said what do you mean a whole bunch and she said there are a few in the kitchen cupboard. As I opened the cupboard she added I keep the rest in a tub in the hall closet and I just change them out when I want to use a different color. 🤯😲 I just about fell over. I asked her how many she had and she said oh I never counted but I sure think they’re pretty. I asked her are they all by the same maker and she said I’m not sure. Then she wanted to know why I was making such a big deal about all these juice glasses. When I told her what they were and what they were worth she 100% didn’t believe me. So , I showed her online . She just came saying “ oh my goodness, I can’t believe this” Turns out she had 38 glassybabies out of 40 “juice glasses”hahaha 😂and yes she had some rare ones🥰God is sooo good. Her plan is to sell one or two when she needs too. 🥹😄

To be honest, never met a pie I didn't like! I even like gooseberry, mincemeat and rhubarb. But my all time favorite is Indiana's state pie...sugar cream pie. Yum! Have watched all of your videos and appreciate all the hard work and dedication you put into them while trying to educate, entertain and uplift your viewers. I'm so impressed with the strength, class and grace you've shown through all of the trials and obstacles. Your light still shines. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's day!

The reason the crystal butter dishes don’t have a knob or “ handle” on top is because lifting from a knob would break it quickly. It’s safer for the glass the way it is but I do like a lid handle also

I appreciate hearing details of particular pieces, whether it be glass, pottery, art or jewelry. Clearly you have learned a lot thru your years of selling and it shows. Happy Mother’s Day Danni. I took my kids to the Clearwater aguarium In Clearwater,Florida.They rehab many sea animals. My grands loved being able to touch the mantra rays. They got to color picture of sea type turtles. I highly recommend this place.when did the VR with us deep in the ocean having different sea animals. I could stop crying when the showed the garbage that is thrown in the ocean & it felt like it was coming down on us. Wow it hit me very hard. Ty. For this video

My Savers usually always puts all glassybaby votives in the glassware/drinkware section. Between Savers and Goodwill I've found 6 votives in the wild. All were average selling price except one rare one I found. It was the retired name Lady Di votive with the sticker still attached. Also be on the lookout because glassybaby makes drinking glasses, they're called drinkers.

Happy Mother’s Day! My favorite pie would be Coconut Custard, my least favorite is Lemon Meringue. I also just found Goebel at a Fund Raiser sale. While I was checking out my haul this lady came up to me and wanted them. There were some that had damage and I offered those to her but she didn’t want them. The best thing about this sale is on the last day it’s full a bag for $10. Boy did I score that day. Happy Thrifting everyone

That wooden crate would make a lovely creche for one of your Nativity sets! I'm glad your mom makes dog beds. I make similar catnip mats to sell, gift, and donate to our local shelter; an always on the lookout for fleece, flannel and cloth with cats! I made the most beautiful flower arrangement in my bean pot using sunflowers once! Good use for lidless ones!

I agree with one comment i read that it seems like like you are shopping more for "personal" items than you are your customers. For Jordan, Rachelle,or Noah and your own home. I do realize that you have to be selective and deal with items that " speak" to you. I am a seller also, but i try to keep my customers in mind as to what they will purchase, find fun in, enjoy displaying in their homes... ( I don't mean to be negative, just trying to give you a gentle heads-up) you seem to be drifting off into " animal" world. ( Turtles, fish, frogs...whatever animal you are interested! I see a lot of items you pass by that would be nice to sell! I hope you take this in the spirit in which it is given....helpful

Remember it's not what you like it's what your buyer's like and you just pass by so many beautiful awesome cool things not everyone has your taste like that decanter and that flask my husband would love to have those in his collection and the flask just needs a replacement cork . Those goebel figurines were a great find. I would've picked up the butter dishes. They seem to be making a resurgence lately, and those were really nice ones. I think picking up a textured lid, which gives a better grip, is safer than using a small knob. I've never had pumpkin pie (it's not really a thing in N.Z. and Australia (I lived in N.Z and moved to Aus)), but I'd like to try making one. My favourite pie is lemon meringue.

I have that piece of Tupperware that you picked up and it is a steamer and I use it all the time. It was my mothers and she got it in the 70s and now it is mine and I’ve been using it for the last 35 years I love that thing you put a little bit of water in the bottom and then put the insert in and lay whatever vegetables you want to steam in there and put it in the microwave for a couple minutes then dump the water out and serve veggies in the same bowl . I love being able to cook something and then serve it in same dish . And that ugly “Harvest Gold” color is back in style🤣😂

My favorite pie is peanut butter/chocolate pie. For some reason I seem to sell a lot of butter dishes both glass and ceramic or porcelain. That first tupperware should have a third piece which is a divided strainer type thing inside. You certainly have some great sales there in your stores. Happy Mother's Day

Another question; although you are very thorough, when you look around the shelves, I don’t often know what you are just passing by and why. I would so much like you to. in your videos, would teach us how you do that screening or scrolling! If you would do that for just one shelf in all of your videos, I think we could learn so much from you.

My favorite pie-thingie is a peach cobbler made with pie crust, not the cake kind. I'm from Texas so this type of dessert is in my blood. Blackberry cobbler is a close second place. But for a "real" pie, I prefer cherry cheese pie. Pecan pie is my husband's favorite but with a few chocolate chips thrown in. My least favorite is (sorry Danni) is pecan pie. I don't like the gooeyness.
