Your really showing the way to the American dream, from a hotshot pickup to 3 semi trucks. Eventually you will be able to travel full-time and never have to drive. Glad to have you back!
Run MARVEL MYSTERY OIL in your fuel tank once a week, it will clean off and restore faulty DEF sensors and prevent your DPF filter from clogging/requiring regens.
Yousef i bought this same excat truck in Feburady for 56k mine had 436k when i purchased. Also i discovered oil leak from the front end of my cummins, i ended up doing the whole inframe job on it, $3300, but since then this baby has made me nothing but money, i love this truck, and im so glad i got it before these prices went hyperbolic. Mine also has the APU that i never used lol
There’s a bunch of these T680’s on commercial truck trader for around 75k with less than 500k miles. They just don’t have the back toolbox and flatbed equipment. And yes they have the Cummins.
Glad you put the travel videos on their own channel. Looking forward to seeing you on the road again. You won't see me easing you about the automatic if you're driving for a living, rather than showing off and making lots of noisy shifts, this is the profit-making way to go, IMO. Wasn't your last blue truck an automatic? What sort of mileage are you getting? Drive happy and stay safe.
This truck brand new was probably less than $120K, so the first owner got his money worth. Now you cant get a new one under $175k. what a shame that these prices go up so fast
I'd walked away from it. 400k miles. Those motors tend to need inframed around that mark. Add all the emmisions stuff that parts are on back order for. I'd taken that 70k and bought a pre emmisions truck that goes million plus constantly. But best of luck
Ehh just delete it. But me personally id take detroit, or mack/volvo before cummins. Cummins has recently the least engine durability of heavy duty engines. Other than the infamous, max force.
Yusuf mine had def sensor issues also when I bought it and it ended up being the def sensor leveler and also the def T valve sensor you will want to replace them both even if one is not bad because they say one sensor going bad can cause the other one to go bad. Kenworth told me 3 week wait. So I cross-referenced the numbers and got the parts off of eBay for $180 cheaper than what you can get at Kenworth and it came in three days that being said you will take a $2,000 bill and drop it down to 1400
Welcome back glad to see you came back safe and rested time to make more videos and money and congrats on your new truck my brother keep on trucking 💰💰💰💰👍🏽💯
Nice buy. I would look for a flat bed driver first since the truck is setup for flatbed. Get everything fixed and then maintain it. No accidents? Nice headache rack and binders.
I see you like Kenworth trucks, but I have to remind you that the automatic transmissions and these tractors are very expensive when they need to be repaired. It is better to try to stick with a manual transmission it is less expensive to repair.
Nice dude! Called him last week, even though he is younger than me, gave me some advice about trucking. Btw, I’m new to the trucking business thing. Keep it up bud.
She is a beauty Yusef !! I’m a old truck guy but I do like the comfort of the new trucks I just don’t like eld and def but new trucks ride better for sure
Don't know if you would be interested, but #Hyliion make a hybrid system that will enable less idle, increased gas mileage and I think less wear and tear. They specialize in class 8 semi trucks.
I have heard that if you only replace one of the rear axle tires it will cause damage to your drivetrain. I think this might be true because when I did that once my transmission would make a vibrating sound. After I replaced the second axle the noise stopped. Just be careful.
Good truck Joseph, but don't forget to take out the yellow lamps on top of the cab. Sorry to call you Joseph, but I think I heard. my name is Joseph. of course everything has its time and it's also money! I also don't like to see my truck stopped and I still have a lot to do in it. the most important thing is that he is ready to work. hug .... !
Yousiff Good morning Welcome after that nice trip that you made to Europe. Is this your third truck ? The truck looks good , congratulations Best REGARDS 9 October 2021
This is a Pac car Kw ( very basic one at that ) ... GOOD LUCK LOL parts are more expensive and Cumin X15 has nothing but issues when it comes to DEF , shitty Mileage on fuel and the clicking sound for the doors is the door hinge is binding and eventually will have to be replaced ( cheap metal )
Jack Black, 🎼🎶🎵🎶🎵🎸🎤 *Beedle-deedle-Deedle-deedle-Deedle-De-De-DOOOOO!!!!!* 🎵🎶🎵🎶 I don't know, man. That flip-flopped manner that we see those front fender/hood mirrors on his blue truck is the way that Melton Truck Lines has them on pretty much all of their trucks (and his blue truck is a former Melton truck, so this follows). Maybe there's a good reason why they have hundreds of their trucks configured that way -- I used to think about that, too, and I wonder if it may be some idea of having them tucked in more so that something's less likely to hit the "mirror part," hanging out, but, rather, the "stick part."
A don't put the sensor you can buy pass it rite now cause theirs a letter from Kenworth and Peterbilt theirs a guy on the Asian mai show on RU-vid he's having the same problem so they buy passed it since theirs a shortage on sensors that sensor is only $200 and people that have them on eBay are selling them for $4000 just letting you know so you don't get scammed bro
Awesome. You are on top of your game. That price is good for todays crazy market. Having said that it's way too high. We need to stop supporting the craziness. Let the market come down. But you sir are Awesome! Even with your automatic. I'm kidding. Automatics are great until they need work done.
After my last trk had a def after treatment fire which it burned the entire trk up. Dealing with ins and other bs on what was paid out. I paid 25k for 2016 freightliner cas dd15 with 380k miles put another 5 k for tires, breaks all this trk does is make bank for me. I refuse to get chained down by large trk payments.
I cannot agree with your valuation. Not a bad price but not as cheap as you think it is. For $100,000 you would be able to pick up a 2019 with mileage no higher than 300,000 miles. So you could have done better. But in all honesty I would not have paid over $65,000 for that truck as it stands. But good luck in your endeavours.
Hello Yousiff. Great content on your videos. Thank you! Would you mind doing a short video explaining hours of service and what you can and can not do to maximize your time and money? Thanks.
