What always cures my car sickness immediately: Mia I hope you see this. Whenever I feel like I'm starting to feel bad when in the car, i start to "walk" my feet. like i just make some walking motions with my feet while I'm sitting in the car, and it tricks my brain SO GOOOOD into that I'm walking, that I feel a lot better almost immediately. Would love to hear if it works for you too :)
I'm going to try this! I am extremely car sick. In the car, on the bus (having to drive backwards on the bus for 2min is a guaranteed getting out at the next stop to vomit), on the train - but luckily only backwards - on the boat (even when still docked!) - and I've even had episodes on the plane. I'd hoped it would get better during ageing, but nope. Now, at 45yo it's still as terrible as when I was 5...or 9...or 16...or 27. Tried tablets: they make me super sleepy and I still get nauseous. Just a few minutes later. Tried those armbands: Absolutely useless. Tried acupressure, didn't work. There's a pharmacy in Belgium that sells capsules they made themselves. It's expensive, but these were the very, very first product that actually worked. If I take them half an hour before the trip and I don't have to be a passenger during a storm on sea, or while driving through tiny, circling mountain roads then I'm okay. It also depends on the driver. With a good friend they're 100%. With my dad...: wait, did I take them? (One of those brake late, drive, brake etc. Getting ill just thinking about it). Unfortunately they don't always make them, the shipping is expensive being from another country AND they have caffeine in them to make sure you don't get sleepy. And I'm allergic to caffeine, meaning that I first need to make sure I take other meds, sigh... But ehm, yeah. "Walking motions" Strangers will probably think I'm going crazy, but I'll give it a go.

The only product I've ever used that worked for motion sickness was Sea-Band Anti-nausea Acupressure bracelets (the generic kind works too, but that's the brand to look up). Not trendy but highly recommend for relieving motion sickness
Came to comments to see if anyone mentioned them already. They saved my life during my pregnancies while I felt like having the worst hangover 24/7. With the arm bands on I suffered only through mild hangover 24/7. I would assume they work on other kind of nausea also.
I don’t vomit with motion sickness but I get very dizzy and nauseous when on a boat, would that work for me as well? Also I get dizzy on a plane due to the pressure so really hoping it works 😅
The Misses Kisses bra was a game changer for me! 36G, and strapless bras in my sizes pretty much don't exist lol. Got myself a Misses Kisses and I can wear cute strapless dresses! Ew... that sounded like an ad. 🤣

@@lobstershorts1 as long as I didn't do anything crazy, it stayed on really well. Now that I've had it for two years, I probably need to replace the sticky part, but it's been great. I probably won't buy another one, because it isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but it was the first time I've been able to actually wear certsin clothes... ever.
When you talked about your mom's swimsuit that you could wear like 50 different ways, I flashed back to when the "Infinity Dress" first came out (probably in your grand mom's day). EVERYONE had one. Young, old, fat, skinny, didn't matter. And pretty much no one actually wore them because we couldn't make it work. 😃
for the motion sickness two things that have absolutely worked for me were the ‘Sea-Bands’ they’re like arm sweatbands but have a little bead that pushes on a pressure point and it’s insane how well they work. Also trader joe’s ginger mints help me as well!
The only thing that’s ever worked for me are some medication called “sea legs” I’ve tried those band things before and they made me feel more sick. I’m not a,Eric am so haven’t tried that specific mint thing but I’ve tried ginger things before and they didn’t help and just tasted gross. It’s interesting how different things work for some people but are worse for others.
I think the cinch really works in the tiktok because she's in front of a black background with black stripes but this still definitely gives you a cinch!
I think it's cool but why is no one talking about if those straps slip of your shoulders THE WHOLE THING FALLS DOWN. this is for staying very still at the pool
As another commenter said, the straps could slip off... I almost think there should either be a tie, like you suggested in a reply, or have the straps do an x in the back. Basically, where the alternate-color seams are on the shoulder, switch them. The strap near your right hip would go around your right side and meet up on the LEFT shoulder in the back, rather than the right shoulder. That way, it can't slide off. Same with left hip, around left side, onto right shoulder in the back. I wish I could explain better in a youtube comment haha. In summary, this swimsuit would be better if it was made for a living woman who does more than sit and look hot.

I never had car sickness till my mom met my step dad and I started riding in the vehicle with him driving. They'd come to pick me up to go hang out and every five minutes we would be stopping on a nearly 1+ hour drive ( before they moved closer) because I thought I was going to hurl. It took quite a few rides before I finally could ride around in the vehicle without feeling sick.

Mia a someone who also is notorious for getting car sick, dramamine is a life saver. I’m in the US so I’m not sure if Canada has it but I really helps. Mine is so bad that even with taking it I can still get sick but it does work. Please try it, tho you have to get the non drowsy kind or else you will fall asleep.
a better option for those weird motion sickness glasses - most pharmacies have these motion sickness/morning sickness wristbands (they're usually grey or black with a white dot on them). They work by putting pressure on your veins to calm you down. I never get motion sick while wearing them (I wore them on a drive across the country and didn't throw up once when normally I get sick after 15 min in a car). They also don't make you look weird :)
Clevver style a while back had the founder of the bra on. She gave some very good advice on how to wear the bra and what to wear with it. If you are getting this bra I recommend seeking that video out.

Have you tried Sea Bands for your motion sickness? I get HORRIBLE motion sickness too and these have saved my life for the past 20 years. They might be another name in Canada, they are stretchy bands you wear on your wrists and they have a ball that pushes a pressure point on the inner wrist.
Mia, you and I are very similar ! I now get sick all the time compared to when I was younger, I feel like such a burden.. I know they say I’m not but we both know it’s not fun. Anyways, just support and love from me! Great video.

hey mia, i have very bad motion sickness too when i’m in a car, a bus or even on a large ferry! just thought you might wanna try them out too, but there are these wristbands called seabands and they don’t cost very much but they work very well for my motion sickness! thought i should share this with a fellow motion sickness sufferer 😊
@Mia n anyone else who suffers from nausea, I know a lot of people have tried those sea bands, I had them too, and im glad they taught me about acupressure but I actually found that massaging that point where the little ball hits is way more effective than the bands themselves. I massage in a circular motion with a little bit of pressure to that point n also to the spot btwn your thumb n first finger. It's not extremely long lasting unfourt but as long as im massaging it actually relieves a good bit of my nausea! Just thought id share bc I saw a few people mention the sea bands only working a little so hopefully that'll help someone find more relief! 💗

The way I have never related to anything MORE! I am a literal inconvenience because if its not my allergies, or my lactose intolerance, it is my motion sickness. I get sick going in a car every single time! I cannot go on any rollercoasters even if I wanted to. Worst part of it all is I get motion sickness even playing video games or watching videos
I suspect the glasses are a huge scam: I also suffer terribly from motion sickness and I was told by the doctor it's an inner ear thing, it has nothing to do with your eyes! XD
@@rachelcookie321 if what you have is vertigo, like mine, unfortunately you don't. There's no cure for vertigo: you can talk to your doctor and see if they can prescribe medications to alleviate the symptoms (like sea-sickness pills basically). The only other thing you can do is identify the factors that tend to provoke the symptoms and try to avoid them: for example I know that being active helps me avoid getting sick, and things like keeping good posture when working and avoiding staring down at my phone for long amounts of time help minimize the issue. In times in which I'm very stressed, I noticed I get sick easier and for longer time (even while simply sitting at my desk), so I try to make sure I never get to that breaking point. Your doctor could also send you to a specialist (ear, nose & throat doctor) and see if they could identify any other particular issue that might need to be addressed.
@@ErenAngiolini I already got over the counter sea sickness tablets that work for me but they’re too expensive to take everyday. And they come in packs of 12 and you take 2 at a time so it would be a pain to get a new pack every 6 days. I only take them when taking big trips but I can still get very sick on short trips. There’s nothing really in particular that makes it worse or better for me. The things that make it worse are just how bumpy and windy the trip is or if I’m trying to look at my phone or something. I’m just so sick of getting sick every time I go in the car somewhere. Also, at the start of the year I got really sick and part of that has made me get sick easier when in the car. It’s gotten better but I’m still unwell so it’s not gone completely.
@@rachelcookie321 I understand you very well. I've been suffering from this my whole life and I remember when people used to tell me "when you'll drive yourself you'll be fine, no more car sickness". But they were wrong because mine is so bad I get it even when I'm the driver! ^^' I just keep my head straight, look forwards, never check my phone or read, and usually having the window a little open with fresh air helps. But if the road is bad.. not much to do about it. The pills I was given do not work on my symptoms at all, so I stopped taking mine. The only suggestion I can give you is to once again suggest seeing a specialist, to check if there's something a professional can recommend. I will say, I've always had this issue, but it did get A LOT WORSE after I got COVID last year. So this is very unscientific and unproven, but I do suspect in some way getting COVID -mine was a light form- might have made it worse. But don't quote me on that, I'm not a doctor and it's just a personal theory.

I didn’t like the colors of the dress at all..if I’m honest i think it looks like toothpaste.. But u still look great in it and I like the shape of the dress :)
