*Update, you need a four valve genesis engine from the 80s FZ700 in there. Loads of power, almost no vibration in line 4.*Hayabusa swap would rip this in half.* *Even a $500 scrap VFR would make this a supercar.*
The Peel P50 is a three-wheeled microcar originally made from 1962 to 1965 by the Peel Engineering Company on the Isle of Man, and then from 2011 to present. It was listed in the 2010 Guinness World Records as the smallest production car ever made.[4] The original model has no reverse gear, but a handle at the rear allows the very lightweight car to be maneuvered physically when required.
That's not legally an automobile in many jurisdictions but a scootmobile/cyclecar, which might be legal to drive with a moped licence and is forbidden to enter the motorway. The Isetta is a regular car and can be driven on the motorway in the entire EU and probably in most other countries and requires a B licence.
That is the car that SAVED BMW... They almost went belly up if it wasnt for this little gem. "The Erkel Car" for anyone in their late 30's will know abou that. 90's/80's kids!
Nothing more true than the "I get more thumbs up in this 13hp car" line... I drive a 1970 Honda N600 and I get people asking questions and stopping all the time...
@@cubiclelemur Any and all of the needs the car will require can be solved by Tim Mings of Merciless Mings in Duarte, CA. He restored serial #000001 N600 and his work speaks for himself... For early year cars there's no synchros in the transmission so get ready for some crunch... Using the parking brake can blow the rear brake cylinders so I just leave it in gear... Other than that, parts are actually easy to come by, the Facebook group (N600 owners) is a wealth of knowledge.... Also tires are kind of hard to come by Also the car will break... It is the nature of the N600.... Way worth it though.
I haven't watched one of your videos on ages, and the first thing i thought was "damn, you've lost some weight! " Looking good man. Keep up the hard work!
The interaction with the crackhead at the gas station had me dead, you were like this m f doesnt have 1000hp bike and then he said watts and youre like damn that makes sense 😂😂
My best friend in High School had one a little older than yours and I rode a Harley Davidson 125cc motorcycle. We put many miles on both in Maitland/Winter Park FL back in the late 50's. Great memories.
Yep, I put one on at the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville. Jeffrey Lane was driving the thing around INSIDE the museum, stopped, got out, and asked if anyone wanted to sit in it. Of course all the kids did, then I, figuring I'd never get another chance to sit in one, did too. I'm 6'3 and managed... but Jeremey Clarkson is 6'5 and he was driving one around London (and the BBC)!
Came here to say the Isetta ain't the smallest car lol. There are lots of smaller cars than the Isetta out there, but yeah the Peel P50 is the smallest production car. Isettas are still pretty darn cool though!
This was another awesome vide I enjoyed this alot and and that js a weird lil car and that sucks the transmission blew up but hey u got to drive it around and have a blast with it tho. And I loved it when u said that ostrich is a big ass t Rex chicken that cracked me tf up 😂😂😂 anyway keep up the great work much love to ya westen have a good one take care God bless and I will see ya on the next one brother
I watched the cboys podcast with heavyD and cleet, and hearing them praise westen for coming so far in the short time hes been doing this was so cool. Real recognize real, and this man is definitely a real good content creator. They said it best, hes got a personality that everyone can relate to.
Westen is a good "car buy guy". He asked "can we see if it runs?" And the guy instantly started choking "....well maybe...it's picky....it's out of fuel....it was LEAKING FUEL....." Like bruh....thats that shit any car buyer should be looking out for that people try to hide.
At least he was honest about it upfront. A lot of people would just straight up lie about stuff. They would either lie, or they would try and down play anything else that was wrong with it. He knew that Westen was most likely going to buy it as long as he was able to get it started.
He's a BMW dealer which stands for "Bring Money Wads". At least in haggling that it's a working vehicle you can see the transmission lock up after 50 miles.
Love the Isetta! But it needs a lot of work though. A true specialist on them is Mark Hatten from MPH specialties in Portland Oregon. He has also a RU-vid channel with lots of repair videos.
This vid got my like and subscription. Hopefully you can make repairs and the Isetta story continues. It’s unique. It’s fun. It’s vintage. Doesn’t need horse power to be cool. Gets more attention and respect than a dragster. You got yourself a golden goose for content. Shareable for sure.
12:13 when he goes to pull out his wallet and pulled out the Hershey wrapper with it 😂 had me rolling after he glanced at the camera looking like a kid that got caught with his hand in the cookie jar
To properly to put in the earplugs is to squeeze them and roll them up and gentle put them into your ears, the ear plugs will expand and fit firmly into your ears.
Damn I wish I read this a couple of hours ago, Instructions were unclear how to block farts, the extra one ended up in left nostril the other ended up blocking the source of the fart. Turned out they were ment to block the sounds not the smell, I've been using them all wrong.
I had a friend that owned 4 different ones of these. He and another friend of ours took a VW rear end and floor with engine and mounted it to the isetta. It would easily pop wheelies all day long in our buddy's shop parking lot. It was so much fun.
When I was growing up in West Texas there were a few around. We had a Vespa Dealership that serviced the Isettas and the meshersmitts.(spelled wrong). The problem was the wind would blow them over. My friend had one and I drove it a couple of times, great fun.
Westen can i just say that you are looking alot more healthy now, ive not seen a video of yours for some time but can see you got alot more muscle now and not getting out of breath, keep it up brother❤🎉, I'm gonna make sure im subbed, i use to be before but for some reason youtube like to mess about with subcriptions, stay safe.
When I was a kid (been a while, think Kennedy) a guy in the apartment next door had one of these and I thought it was the coolest thing to see him get in and out of the front door.
