I would like to think that the reason his videos take so long is because his editor is taking the time to count all of them and add it up and that's really the accurate number.
WOW! i remember this M4 Tank with an 86 Ford Ranger body racing Bigfoot, also there was William Townes Virginia Beach Beast and im sure there was one called Orange Blossom Special locomotive.
Oh wow! This thing's an '80s monster truck scene icon! Love how it has the original logo/paint still... I've seen tons of videos of it on youtube facing off againts BigFoot, Virginia Beach Beast and the likes! Very friggin cool to see it still around....subscribed becuase of this , Lol!! Hell yeah!!
If anyone is wondering about the Tank Chassis, M3 Stuarts and M113 APC's where commonly used for the chassis and also easy to get ahold of. The M3 Stuart chassis was easy to build with very little metal and you could get at the time M113 APC's with bad engines or decommissioned ones really cheap as well after the war ended.
the m22 locust used the same suspension set up and that's what threw me off. seeing the whole height of it does screw m3 Stuart. thanks for clearing that up!
I feel like we won't see that happen, at least on this channel. Maybe if he had a behind the scenes channel where he can be more relaxed and like you said raw/less edited then it would be great.
@@bailey2046 I've been watching since the very beginning and although I'm happy he took off (he absolutely deserves it) he changed a lot and kinda lost touch with his roots.
@@bailey2046 That is a great idea, Ive always loved that westin didnt stretch his videos out so long and have all the click baity junk like everyone else, but he is doing so much crazy stuff now that i agree with @rayzor285 I NEED MOOORE!
youtube gives you a very clear picture of what content gets watched. there are alot of people who can sit through 40 min of raw footage but the majority will start skipping and opt out and that is a huge red flag for youtube algorithm. if you want views and money. you keep the audiece at the edge of their seat for 11 mins instead of 40 mins of raw that gets watched 100% by like 5% of viewers.
Weston is hands down one of the most entertaining content creator ever.... With that being said and after watching the tank video I'm now wondering are we about to witness the birth of the "SmokeTank" or the "GodZillaTank"... Bc with that large of an engine bay you could shove a huge motor in there... My vote is either a big cam Cummins or 6nz cat from a semi.... Either would be killer.... Keep up the awesome work Weston... Redneck Science 4 Life.....
You know how some guys just burst onto the scene on RU-vid and you can tell right away they are going to do good? This guy Westen, he's one of them! Great video and tank Ranger Westen!
You know that it’s not going to be cheap. It’s not likely that you are going to find one that you will be able to just buy one of these. You will most likely have to pay someone to build you one from the ground up. You can always build one of them yourself, if you have the skills required to do so. Either way, it’s going to cost you a lot of money to get one. Having one built for you seems like the best option in my opinion. I wouldn’t want to buy anything that someone else has already beat on. Plus,if you build it yourself, or pay to have it built, then you will be able to have it built exactly how you want it!
Westen, what those zooming need are three sided box, with two caps at the front and rear of them. This means that there'll be one at the top of them, two at either side of those tubes, plus one at front and rear of them. All you need to do is to weld them at each corner of that five paneled box. The sid that doesn't have a panel will slide onto those zoomies. By the way, zoomies is another word for headers. No water will be able to slide inside of them after they're put on.
As a bloke who owns an M3 Stuart tank. I can tell you that what you have i'snt a stuart, no matter what anyone says. Long long ago in the before times, that was an M4 hi-speed tractor from ww2 and looks like a barrel of laughs...good stuff!
I have an 88 ford ranger I'm in the process of 5.3 chevy vortec swap. And I have a Baja body kit on order for it as well. I can't wait for it to be done
Oh man that's awesome. Child hood memories right there. I remember seeing car killer and the no problem bronco monster truck lots of times in the late 80s early 90s!
NNNOOO WAAAYYY YOU BOUGHT THIS Dude I'm pretty sure I have original video of this tank truck on VHS!!!! I swear this things a legend, nice to see its still in good shape like 30 years later 😅
WES This was built by my uncle's out of West Palm Beach FL. Have many memories and tons of videos of the original driver Butch Lowe winning contest with it. Even beating Big Foot in car crush event. Was BB ford Powered with NOS in the beginning
Jeez, what a monster! I think that 'pig block' is about used up though, since it won't stay cool for more than 2 minutes at a time. Also I think your Go-Pro that you pulled out of the crushed car at the end, had a little pile of poop under it after that experience!!🤣😂👍
Awesome brother, I'd liked to have that 454 but shipping is probably more than it's worth. Lol it'd be sweet in a 280z😮! Your tank needs a 409 built to a 427. Plenty of torque, H.P. and rpm. And will bolt right up to your bell housing. Awesome truck and video, you never disappointed us as your viewers 👏.
