I had a stroke when I was 9 and after regaining the ability to walk again, I began bowling. I didn't do very well the first year or two, but I ended up becoming good at it over time. I've bowled 2 games over 200, a 243 and a 210, 2 games in the 190's, 5 in the 180's, and well over 50 games in the 150's-170's range. I learned a lot of what I know about bowling from my PawPaw and from watching the PBA on Sundays growing up. One of my favorite bowlers as a child was Bill O'Neil.

@@kyleb5169 I’ve yet to see much in person with the Ion Pro. Most tournaments I’ve been to, that ball is put away very quickly (and not because of urethane either). Pros make it look really good though.

I think the Attention Star has competition. The Ion Pro. The Optimum Idol. You also seem to be seriously slowing your roll to get that ball to recover. On a house shot.

I’m new to watching your league videos. what’s the strike pot? my league doesn’t have that. also, I’m glad you’ve been bowling two handed! been watching you for some tips as I just switched to two handed 4 months ago!

I'd guess to get the Strike pot you'd have to strike in a certain number of designated frames. A league that I used to bowl in had a jackpot where you had to close 3 specified frames in each game, the fill ball in the fourth game had to be a strike.

Basically, what David said above me. I bowled many leagues where the strike pot was getting a strike in frames 2,5,7, and 8 in the first game. 1,6,8, and 9 the second game, and the third was randomized weekly. If you paid a dollar to enter the pot and struck on all of those frames, you won the total pot. Would often be well over 600 USD. My father once hit it when it was 3500 USD it hadn't been won in months across the 10 leagues that center ran during the summer

He cannot review Hammer bowling balls without losing his Storm+ contract. He can only review balls in the Storm, Roto Grip or 900 Global line.

Different balls.. Phaze 2 is a solid sym, A-Star is a pearl asym. Could make an argument that Phaze 2 might be more "versatile", but the A-Star is a beast from anywhere for me
