Enemies drop fruit. Enemies can drop poisoned fruit. Dex walks through enemies. Enemies who drop poisoned fruit. Dex takes massive poison damage that can not be blocked by armor. "Why am I taking so much damage! I have so much armor..." It might be the fruit...
What I've noticed is the bad fruit also can give you the extra luck bonus, so weirdly enough I found myself going out of my way to pick them up when I felt comfortable
@@vasianduban9995 Idk if it's based off your curse but it can vary for sure, I've had 5%/dodge. Sometimes I still find 'weak' cursed items when I have high curse stat.
@@vasianduban9995 I think it's based off of the round you are on. I read a comment on a previous dex vid that said it's a 20% buff bedfore round 20, and it increases by 2% per round. So at wave 23 it woud be 26% buff.
@@zrecul4957 In one of retromations videos he got a snail with 15% enemy speed reduction during normal waves. That's a 200% buff with new downsides added. I think it's possible there's no clear rule that can be applied across the board. Maybe blobfish just set values for every item separately as they saw fit, maybe it's random.
They may not even fix it. They probably considered it when they added a mechanic that could buff the values, and decided that it would be super unlikely to happen. If you can't do it consistently, it doesn't really matter. It just makes for a really cool "OH WOW" moment if it does happen to you.
Nice, I noticed the same interaction on the reroll prices (except I had -98% cost, not -100+) and have been trying to get a broken endless run going since - I knew you'd do this eventually, and that was awesome!
While watching this run, with the DLC I have cried laughing so many times at the sheer absurdity of this run. Amazing content to watch instead of sleeping.
The ultimate troll would be if the devs added your item to the game; but they have a check to see if you're playing and disable it so you can't get your own item.
Not gonna lie I would have loved to watch this run till round 100, just because I want to see, if at some point the enemies would actually out scale you, or if you became truly immortal :D
It would be true immortality, since this run allows to do what I did in the wave 1000 run except to an infinite degree. In theory I could roll the shop until I have so many Tardigrades that it becomes impossible to die in a wave since there aren't enough hits that can be processed within 60 seconds, but the better way would be to get map-wide pickup range, increase explosion size and just boom over the enemies with fruit pickups
@@DexTag I know the time it would take would be insane but I would just love the see the insanity unfold just for the sake of seeing it happen and laughing while it happens. But again not really feasible time wise. Anyways I really enjoy your content a lot, you always bring a smile to my face with them and I hope that one day you will finally find your item that is hopefully in the game!

Mit den ganzen neuen items ist welle 50+ auf der neuen map gar kein Problem - es ist einfach zu krass❤
With curse and the ability to get double or even triple uniques due to having something in the shop and one or two from a single crate, you could get ugly tooth to make enemies have -100% speed

What is the thought behind leaving the fruit on the ground during the wave? Wouldn’t the luck you might get from picking them up mean the enemies you kill that wave might drop more fruit?
8:32 that happened on my first buccaneer run 😂 had one break then 3 more in one wave and it was the first time I'd used them. Lost the very next wave lol
Seems like with that infinite money glitch, you could just buy everything from the shop constantly and it'd be an overall upgrade. Even items that go entirely against your build would get compensated for. The only danger is getting those items that deal damage over time and the one that sets you to 1hp... but with a tardigrade or 2, you should be able to then outheal it easily. Heck, if you get enough items and your HP regen goes into the positives, you could out-regen that damage anyways.
Would you not want to leave the Green fruit on the ground, and pick up a Red Fruit to still get the chance at the luck up, and then pick up the green one to heal after?

Dex, I'm wondering if your item is unlocked by playing one of the other characters. I've not played the new beta at all, nor have I really watched anyone else play, but that's my running theory how you've not seen it when you had literally INFINITE money for rerolls.
It would have taken too long with the amount of hp you had in the end, but a funny way to end the run would have been to roll for more healing from fruit until you could one shot yourself.
