Thanks for tip on tightening the zerks. I will definitely be checking mine. The paint marker is an excellent idea too. I also hit any exposed bare metal with Surface Shield to deter rust, like your pallet forks.

We bought a property in Bonifay a couple of years back for retirement. We went by Cloud Autoparts to look at tractors this last weekend and mentioned we had seen them on your channel.

When I got a battery grease gun I greased every fitting I could find! Mind blown... Expensive yes. But you'll just complain about grease tube prices after getting one.

Being a machinist by trade I'm thinking all the same things that you are when you are removing easy outs or something that makes a job so great when you break something inside of a tapped hole.

30 yrs ago, l started writing oil filter #, drain plug size, and oil quantity on underside of hood for each vehicle, also air filter#.

Clean battery terminals, check tire pressures, put wiper fluid in reservoir, air screens and cabin air filter and engine air filter.

Grease Grease Grease and check for loose bolts good job Maintenance is key for longevity

If you grease them routinely the grease want dry out in fitting

Now you can use that strap to hold that rod up.

Tighten the zerks like the Germans say "Jah, guten tite"...........or my grandpa..........until you strip the threads then an additional 1/2 turn 😅
