I always love it when you film yourself walking by, but sometimes I think the effort in some of them has got to be tiring before you get to the spot. You basicly walk that twice. Thanks for the effort and the content.

The sign of a good fisherman: don't force something to work that isn't working, even if you have a lot of time and effort (and maybe $$) invested in it. You gave the raft a good shot at that secret pond, it wasn't happnin' and you went to plan B. I see you do that a lot. I have too over the years and it often pays off. I've salvaged a lot of fishing trips that way, and found new spots to fish I file away for another day. That's one reason why I enjoy your content so much and you have almost 300k subs as of 6/5/20. Just keep it up young feller. Fishing will serve you well over the years, and when you get old like me, you'll have a lot of great memories and stories to tell.

You should look at getting a transom mount and a small trolling motor for your raft. I have the 3 person Intex raft (inflating is the worst part) with a 40ft/lb Minn Kota. It helps a lot to keep you on course when the wind picks up and the kids and I can boot around a lake all day and get right into the weeds for the big fish.

Hula poppers are an old favorite, u would be amazed at the size of fish that will hit those. They have worked for me when other top waters havent.

I have watched many of your videos. I have really enjoyed them. I would like to share one observation. You need to invest into a pair of hip waders for your pond fishing adventures.I suggest a breathable set for the warmer weather excursions.

You need to use that pond for a fish fry supplier a few times. There are way too many small bass with limited color meaning more predators than prey. Fun to catch a lot of fish but if that pond were ballanced you might catch half that many but twice to three times that size.

I used to have a foot pedal pump that was for an inflatable mattress and it works way better than those hand ones. Might wanna look into getting one if you keep doing this!

Bigger lures. You'd be surprised. You will still catch a few tiny ones like 7:48 but the bigger bass like bigger foods. I believe.

That pond reminds me of one not too far from where I live, including the lack of bites! Of course, there are people who insist they've caught some huge bass there, but I've never seen anyone catch anything.

I usually imagine what you could cook with what you catch. I remember making survival kits with a few yards of monofilament and a couple of hooks. Maybe you could show us how difficult it is to actually catch fish like that? Survival fishing. "Warning, grilled bluegill may contain bones. (See ya later buddy.) "

If I tried inflating that raft pond side, I would get torn up by mosquitos. Recommend pre inflating with an electric pump. Back in the day I caught my first 4 lb bass (PB at the time) on a Hula Popper one size smaller than that one. I was bank fishing with my buddy at dawn and we raced to tie on our lures when we got to the 2 acre pond. I made the first cast and Bam!

The rubber on these rafts is pretty strong and resists tearing. They also have 3 separate air chambers so if the outer one goes flat you still have the inner one and the floor to keep you afloat
