Dude. I didn't know who you were until you showed up in the MCS, now I'm building Crystal Beast (first deck in TCG, yes I got into this hell and it's partly your fault :P) and I'm eager to start I thought crystal beasts were one of those "nostalgia bait" decks but damn I was wrong
Ya put up a good fight! Except i can proudly say i was the best performing crystal beast pilot during the MCS qualifiers during tear format. I'll take the extremely specific wins with a lot of qualifiers. Also, as someone who played naturia punk FTK in week 16 MCS... I don't know how to feel about seeing round 1
While this is true, let's not forget you did so with _my_ list 😂 masterduelmeta.com/top-decks/community-tournaments/master-circuit-series/12/crystal-beast/elephantno5/5hWeO/
Huge Crystal beast fan. Finally got my third Pegasus so I can build my cb deck for the first time in years. Jesse was my favorite duelist in gx and cb is one of my favorite decks
The other day I was in a game with friends and we argued a bit about the crystal beast/enemy controller interaction. I was wondering if anyone in this comment section knew the answer. ON his turn, he used enemy controller to tribute one of his monsters and take control of my sapphire pegasus. After some playing, he made it to the battle phase. Then he used my sapphire pegasus to crash into one of my own monsters that was stronger than the pegasus and destroy it. He placed it in his own spell and trap zone and locked me out of my pegasus (I only have one copy). He argued that it would not return to me on my turn because it had been destroyed and was no longer under the influence of enemy controller and would not return to my side of the field. Can he do this? We argued for a bit, but I agreed with him after a couple minutes. Still, it was a strange interaction and I'm not convinced. Does anone know?
If your opponent controls one of your “Crystal Beast” monsters and it is destroyed, your opponent can choose to place it in their Spell & Trap Card Zone. If they choose not to, it is sent to your Graveyard. Source: yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Crystal_Beast#:~:text=If%20your%20opponent%20controls%20one,is%20sent%20to%20your%20Graveyard.
Jeff Leonard is actually very well-known for competing with his son and he almost always tops tournaments too. Bro is 50 years old and still goes to the biggest national/international Yu-Gi-Oh tournaments... You can't talk shit about him😂😂😂
The FTK was so disgusting,. It's games like that that makes me not want to come back to Yugioh, but luckily at least the next two games you got to actually play the game.
