A build in Tropical camouflage scheme of the new Revell Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb 04968.
Loosely based on Hawker Hurricane MkIIb - aircraft registration J KC BP166 of 238 Sqn serving Africa during WWII.
I opted for a black spinner instead of the Red as on close examination of the aircraft I depicted; it appeared to me that the Hawker Hurricane spinner was actually black. I came to this conclusion after looking through several B&W photos of spinners where we knew the colour was either red or black. Red is a much lighter shade of grey on the original B&W photos. I wasn't alone in this conclusion after showing photos to other people. I stand by this call.

Welcome to my channel hope you like the video.
I am new to modelling and have recently picked the bug up after receiving a gift for Christmas 2021. That's right; yep just a year and what a steep learning curve I am on!
So yes I have made lots of mistakes (and I mean lots!) but maybe I've learnt a bit as well.
I thought it would be of interest to post my trials and tribulations, for a few reasons:
Well, for me, it keeps a progress and diary of my efforts;
And for others I hope it will inspire some newbies to give it a go as it is incredibly rewarding.
There are on RU-vid a lot of excellent model makers and I think it can seem a bit intimidating to a lot of us;
If nothing else it may make you feel more confident after seeing my efforts after just a year and maybe you can have a laugh or even cry at my efforts.
To get the channel going I will need a bit of support though in the way of likes and subs so would be grateful for that.
