So i popped along to Alexandra Palace for the London Festival of Railway Modelling.
There i picked up a few items for once! I thought id show them on here aswell as put one of them to use.
Thanks to those who came to say hello, was a great weekend, maybe one day Harefield could be exhibited there? Who knows.

Hi Eric. I'm proper enjoying your videos of late. What a shame, after all your hard work, the body gave way. It's still nice of the supplier offering you a replacement. I'm looking forward to watching the Cavalex Class 56 as I've had mine on order since the announcement.

Thanks pal, having fun with it all at the moment! Yeah it was just as i was almost finished, figured i may aswell get it sorted so i can atleast run it for now til the new shell arrives. Yeah very kind of them. The 56 is the nuts, vid will be out next week

Eric! I live near Bilbao and yes that engine is in the main station of the city outside and it is painted army green. Its name is Izarra, which is in basque an translates as "star". And also has the number 29.

Eric, is the M7 chassis needed one of the Triang ones? If so, I’ve got one you can have, deee of charge. the body shell is ruined but it runs quite well

Watch out for that liquid lead because it expands mixed with glue ( I have read)

Cheers, it seems to react quite well with the deluxe materials rocket rapid superglue, its thin enough to seep through handily. Time will tell!

@@UndergroundEric The Ks (Keysers) A/B class kit was released as an unmoterised kit, all whitemetal including white metal chassis rods and shafts, with the additional motorising kit available. After Ks demise it did appear again under the IKB (the broad gauge specialists) banner, but don't know what happened subsequently. I ended up making my own brass chassis for my two P4 Met models, as Ithe original chassis wore out very quickly.
