Incredible conversion hell! yeah! one of the best I've seen lately !! I seen more than over 50 conversions and yours is not that complicated, an expensive, as those ,but a lot better than most of them !!!
I think that it is badass! It's a enduro!! I've been looking to get a quest to go to the lake or desert that's exactly what I had in mind. You Guy's knocked it out of the park, great job!
Wife has a 2015 Dodge Journey, already somewhat lifted, good low end torque, plenty of room in the wheel well, AWD. Might be a project in 5 years or whenever she’s done with it.
Free ExtraGramSam dude I wanna do this to my parents odyssey they are looking on replacing their 04 Honda Odyssey with a newer suv and instead of selling it I want to keep it and add some boggle tires a roof rack and maybe an led bar 😅
Love the van. Not sure about front diy brackets lasting under off road driving... And yes, the yellow inner fender needs to change, but that is just my opinion. Good job on video style!!!
I'm about too get one that me and my wife think is awesome! And it's not half as cool as yours. Good job that's sick. Just need a good sound system, and a TV/Gaming setup in the back. Then I think it would be as cool as it gets. We're gonna be pulling a camper with ours which inside that will be our entertainment/gaming stuff lol
2 questions. 1. Why did you choose to cut the fenders rather than roll them? (I guess proper rolling would have needed a tool you didn't have?) 2. What's the best way to mark the new wheel arch?
Well, I am glad that you are doing well. Just checking in to see how you've been. Happy New Year to you and the family. Im not going anywhere. I always enjoy your videos.
Looks pretty frigging dope dude. I like it. I kinda wanna do this with my aunts 06 Town and Country if I buy it from her. But that van I also wanna sorta convert it into a service truck for doing mobile mechanic work. My ideas are in the air though and I havnt even bought the thing yet.
I'd rock the shit out of that minivan. Looks mint with the tires. Don't like the yellow inner fender, but you do you. Nissan makes a pretty decent product for the most part. I still bang around with an old Maxima.
dont know if your still active or not but ive now owned 2 of these vans and there my favorite car ever, it would be awesome if you could do a update video on this if you still have it. if you dont still have it well you should of sold it to me because i would of bought the hell out of that
ive been wanting to do a built like this for my current quest but im still a little confused on how you got the back lifted? the part you tagged in the comments for it just looks a little weird, did it work in the long run? also what exact tires did you use? im having a hard time finding a pair in my area that will fit
Matt make sure you get a proper alignment before you take this thing on the highway! I just did something similar to my wife's Dodge but its not as cool as modding a minivan.
SUV's are the evolution of minivans. More modern SUVs are the same size or bigger as all the 90's minivans. So basically the most driven style of vehicle these days are minivans.
solocisneros I agree I have a 2006 chrystler town and country and I want to do all terrain tires rims lift kit some cool led interior around my headliner and other cool stuff as far as parts I’ve been looking them up by google and car I d .com
Hey Matt !!!! Awesome Video brother !!!! Can you do a 2005 Dodge Cargo Caravan ??? I'm willing to travel, drop off the van and let you work your magic ??!! for some $$$ .... let me know what range of the total cost that would be.... Thank You !!! Oscar...
Just out of curiosity and because I really have no idea, if you put spacers in and gave it a lift, would you have to cut the fenders to get the tires to fit? Loved the build by the way, Thumbs UP. ...EDIT... I think I see now, the tires are still too big for the fenders with regards to the front and back of the fenders. I see the pictures you posted on Instructables. www.instructables.com/id/I-Made-a-battlecar-Out-of-My-Soccer-Mom-Minivan/
lol, I had found the answer to my question and edited my post above without refreshing the page, just to see you had answered my question. I feel like I just discovered the internet at times. Thanks again.
hah, totally correct. If I was ever in need of a vehicle that could go anywhere and do anything, the truck would be fired up first. The minivan...well...it's just for groceries, school and fun. 🤘😎
How's the bump steer? Considering the tie rods are no longer parallel to the ground at ride height, it would seem like the steering wheel would be moving a lot when you're not on a smooth road.
Oh I hear ya. I found this cheap and liked the body lines is all. It will never be something I throw into deep mud or the woods. It just plain silliness really.
