I attempt to build a Flying V shaped guitar out of 8 Mega Jawbreaker Candies. The riffs at the end aren't from actual songs, just made up. My website: www.burlsart.com/
even if you did dedicate yourself to finishing one of them, what happens if you want to take a break? You just get a sticky, large ball, wtf do you do with that
The phone guy watches guitar videos? Could you do a guitar teardown video? Or do a DIY guitar with Dan from Guns and Guitars? Selfish requests I know... sorry about that.
"I hope one day I'll be able to sell some of my creations, but for the time being [they] are not up to my standards".. thanks man that'll stick with me. You know you could make money, probably lots of it, but that's truly something greater. Mad respect.
@@cracknigga Could you not say the same about guitars made out of conventional materials? It doesn't necessarily matter what it's made of but that he cares about his craft. Plus, using epoxy allows for a whole new level of creativity.
It would never work because if you collected green leaves from summer, by the time the new orange and red leaves come in autumn, the summer ones will decay and they'll all end up as December leaves
*Sugar is hydrophilic, meaning it is attracted to water molecules in the wet resin drawing it in and when that happens it also dissolves the sugar. Hence the stickiness. SCIENCE!*
Fact that you two know Ed,Edd and Eddy, I'd say you're underrated women. Not hitting on you girls, just in case the insanity of the internet has made it seem that way.
Who hasn't seen someone lumberjack swing destroy a guitar on a stage? Jawbreakers in a couple heavy duty ziploc bags and a similar hurling onto a hard surface swing definitely makes edible smaller pieces.
Not up to your standards? Bro. If people want to buy them, sell them. They are literally 1 of 1's and when you become a well known guitar maker, which I'm sure you will be, those guitars from your early years will be awesome additions to any collection. It's not about the guitar being perfect at this point. To a collector, it's about investing in you early. Think about that.
Please make a resin guitar filled with fake pearls, seashells, ribbons, charms, glitter... al9ng that line! I would love to see the girliest guitar! ♡ 😍
“Waste of candy” Nope. Not even close to what I was thinking. I was thinking how awesome that would be to have a jawbreaker guitar and being a little jealous of your skills tbh. Amazing work!
My brother attempted to eat one of those when we were kids. Finished maybe a 1/3 of it & then his tongue started to bleed from it. So we threw it as hard as we could against a concrete wall & watched it explode 😂👍🏻Nice work on the guitar as always 🤙
If you ever wanna do a second one, you can melt jawbreakers so it could make a really cool swearl pattern along with the circles from the cut ones. The only issues would be the colors possibly blending during the melting process and the solid jawbreakers melting from the heat of the molten jawbreakers.
wow, i love how sometimes the construction/process align with the beat of the music like the spraying at 4:37 and at 5:07. has anyone else noticed that? that's so cool.
8:45 honestly dude, creativity is in your DNA lol, it's just not the guitars but the actual playing, there's not a demo song (or lick) that I haven't liked in all of your videos 😅
I had one of those jawbreakers when I was a kid. Was taking forever to eat it so I dissolved it in a cup of water and drank it. Sweet guitar! No pun intended
the citric acid or other flavoring they use to flavor the candy may be stalling the chemical reaction in the epoxy, kinda like how pineapple juice keeps jello from setting
I'm following you for awhile now and honestly your guitars should go to a museum and you should be hired by Fender or Gibson Custom shop. Congratulations
Neighbours be like: "oh my god! This man doesn't stop using loud tools every day for who knows what reason..!" Couple days later: "whew..! He's done with the tools" *hears electric guitar* "well that's it! We're moving away..!"
Bro, the best job anyone can have is doing something that they love to do. You clearly have a passion for this type of work!! I wish you nothing but the best and hope that you only continue to get better at your craft. God bless and good luck!!
Respectfully, sell them anyway (once they meet broad standards) people know you, and what they are buying, that choice is up to them. Start now and you could have an empire, swing for the fences man, you have something here. Use the first small sales to fuel your progression. You'll get to the top if you plan on it
Finally! Someone did it! I've been requesting a bunch of shop channels to do jawbreakers and resin projects. I knew it would look amazing haha. Surprised no one had done it yet. Not sure if I recommend this idea on the pencil crayon guitar video, I don't think I did. But I left the idea of jawbreakers and resin on Shop Time videos, Nick Zametti videos, Bobby Duke, etc. I knew it would look amazing. You're the first channel to do it, from what the search show. Amazing work!
