Bjorn Harms if I want to make one of these, where should I start? Did you start by having an engineering degree? Mechanical engineering? Mechanic? Idk where to start, I wanna make one of these one day too...
This would work beautifully for a rock crawling / overlanding SUV. You drive up to an obstacle, then instead of using spotters, get out of the vehicle and slowly overtake the obstacle with the best possible view angle.
@@NO1xANIMExFAN nope, cop pulled over a self driving Tesla that didn't stop at the stop sign, the owner saw it and asked if he would get a ticket for it and he said no cause he wasn't driving it
@@NO1xANIMExFAN in this case he controls the Car to go from a to b using a remote control, the Tesla was also controlled by the owner to go from a to b he just used a different type of controller (his key). Know what you Mean but don't think that its gonna make much difference for the police doubt they have clear laws on the subject of controlling a car without someone in it. In the Future there deffinetly will be ...
Haha.. imagine people's looks when ya come out of a mall with an armload of stuff and instead of trudging all the way to your car, you get the car to come to you. This is pretty awesome and nice smooth control too.
Have you ever thought about hosting a server to let people drive it from their home? I think it would be an interesting use case blending current virtual gaming and real world machines.
You should record yourself driving it while in the passenger seat and see what kind of stares you get lol. It's always been a dream of mine to daily drive my car to work and stuff with a controller
Awesome. You did the right thing by doing this NOW. Dont wait to look for your dreams, you might get too old, like I have, and not be able to accomplish them. I was so impressed with your approach.
Mad props for you man I have always wanted to do that myself I totally get it ever since I was about eight years old it was very awesome to watch a video all this childhood dream of mine also keep up the good work
Love how he used flysky TX / RX . I’ve built many budget friendly long range micro drones . Notice my channel name . still a hobby I’m interested in but haven’t flown or built anything in well over a year . I’m gunna get back into it this winter because I normally fly outside while sitting in my warm bedroom on the second story . I have an antenna that sits 15feet above my house so I can get clear video to my goggles & TV from miles away . A real RC car is on my bucket list !
The main skill here is he made it fully controllable and wired for R/C and it is all very well hidden so you cannot see that it's R/C controlled, and also you can still drive it manually as an actual car. The R/C modifications do not interfere with the car.
As a fellow Vette owner, I really luv this. But i'd be way too nervous to drive my Vette with a remote. Especially considering how many R/C helicopters i've crashed. Haha.
Hey ridiculous cars I have a 2019 dodge charger srt hellcat and I was wondering if you could make it life size for me to drive around the neighborhood of california
"full scale" sounds like he built the car himself. He modified a Corvette wich is of course full scale. Doesn't minimize his efforts and accomplishments, just sounds wrong.
Stop calling this the biggest rc car. It's NOT. That title goes to Bjorn in the Netherlands who turned a full size corvette into a remote controlled corvette. Not to mention all the other full sized rc vehicles that have been used in movies and so on.
I’d say this it pretty dangerous when something could potential ally happen at any time hitting the trigger on accident or it getting stuck on something tree bush twig passing it so, I’ve done it a million times with my rc cars but a real car wow…but not even that say the motor wants to give out with a electrical malfunction and gets stuck going forward full speed other then that might be good to advance the idea and plug and play idea to just have to plug into the obd port and use it for moving car back kn the lot for busy dealers or body shops I have like 100 cars we have to run back and forth parking them back in the lot fitting in tight spot while sitting the seats hardly able to get out..
If you don't have a driver's license this might be the best thing for you to drive without really getting into trouble.. i used to have dreaming of having a full size remote control car... that u can get into n not really get into trouble.....
Are corvettes interesting and pricey in Europe and are any other American sports or muscle cars are? I know in America we see them as average I mean we like them but it isn’t mind blowing
he sid he bought the corvette and than converted it into a remote control car, so he didn't actually build the RC car he simply converted an already built car into a remote control car
