I Built A Life Sized Gingerbread House

AND donated 10,000 pairs of socks!
This was the perfect holiday project. It took about six months, and on top of my usual amazing team, I was fortunate to work with a contractor, gingerbread expert, tons of “elves,” and even SANTA. Yes, the real one, who traveled from The North Pole just to visit and eat some of our gingerbread house.
This took several thousand pounds of gingerbread to create, and we wanted to top it all off with some holiday spirit which is why we ended up buying out the ENTIRE sock racks at a number of department stores (Target, Nordstrom, Marshalls, etc) and bought many more online, all of which we gave to homeless shelters throughout Boston.
I want to give a massive thank you to Ginger Betty and her entire team of amazing elves, as well as my good friend Kenny, our contractor, as well as Kermens, who helped throughout the project too. Could not have done it without them.
I hope everybody had the happiest of holidays and I want to thank all FOUR MILLION of you for constantly loving and supporting the videos.

In their defense they probably thought it was a prank, I’ve worked in food service and it’s pretty common for prank callers to order obscene amounts of food and then never show up just to mess with us. Costs the business a LOT of money

Thank you for donating so many socks to the homeless in the Boston area. I know that is something that the shelters always need, especially in the winter. With all the panic going on with rona in the last two years now, I think that the shelters have suffered a lot with lack of donations because so many people have been super focused on that being sick, forced to stay home and lots of people lost incomes that they normally had to help out and haven't been able to. So this was really amazing.

This was incredible! Making gingerbread houses has been one of my favorite traditions since I can remember. I like to imagine that the first guy with the long greeting has some kind of rivalry with Ginger Betty and after he hung up, he spent the next six months smug and confident that his business was doing a lot better than Ginger Betty’s. Then he opens RU-vid today and learns that not only was that crazy gingerbread request real, he practically hand delivered that order to Ginger Betty.
