Love the new whip. Color choice is on point, even the white spokes. You can prob color them with sharpie it they’re made of string haha. So are the spoke made of string that’s tensioned? What’s next, string chain!? (I call dibs on the patent) Can you explain a little in the next video?

Thanks Rusty! I think I really can use a sharpie, haha. The spokes are made of what Berd calls, "Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene". They have a big write up about it on their website.

The downside with powder coating is that it weights a bit more if you compare it to a thinner paint... But holds up very well! Those wheels are PIMP btw

Your tires are heavy, and I run the lightest tubes I can find, usually taken out of a Walmart bike...not tubolitos.. Column cranks are also slightly heavy, 23 pounds with pegs is good... Glad to see your trying those spokes out, I've seen them on the mountain bikes and wonder how they would be for a burly rider...

@@jaydalton See I'm a broken old man that likes to go fast XD So I run 33/10 with an Elite. 36t Sprocket was wrecking my knees haha. Have you seen Light Bicycles, something like that. They make Carbon Rims & until recently I didn't know they made a 20" option. I can only imagine how crazy light a Wheelset like that would be! Folding Tyres, Tubolitos, Carbon Rims, Elites/Minis with Ti Goodies & the Berg Spokes =S Madness!
