I BUILT A POTATO HARVESTER USING ONLY JUNK!!!! Digging 750lbs of potatoes FAST!!! 

I just cant believe how they have access to just such a large variety of fruits , trees and plants. Feels like they live in paradise. Fresh produce right on their door step , surrounded by nature and enjoyed together in a close knit family and community! All the money in the world cant buy what they have.

Now you've got me looking at other potato diggers ... down the rabbit hole! So much better than the garden fork and hand shovel. Only thing I think you are missing is a little drag-behind sled or wheeled wagon for the potatoes to roll into and dump in a single pile at the end of the row to fill the buckets from.

Great video. Looks like PEI soil. I use too grow quite a few potatoes. 7 different types and 1200 lbs one year. I’ve cut away back. Can’t dig with a shovel any more. Would have loved to have one of those diggers. About 200 lbs last year. Was a poor crop. 500 the year before. That pretty well did me in. Not growing blues any more. How do you control the potatoe bug. Colorado potatoe beetle. Nice looking crop there. The ones I nick or cut I keep them out of the ones I’m going to store. I eat cut ones first.
