I built a Qbank with ChatGPT and free Google apps.

*Script update:
9/4/23 - Feedback (answer explanation) wasn't being automatically pulled into the form, that has been fixed. If you copied template before this date, it won't be working.
New tool I've been working on. I used to write my own questions for myself and for tutoring clients and I've always wanted an easy way to organize these questions and create quizzes in an efficient manner. This script shows a lot of promise.

I will keep updating this tool, so check once in a while to see what I've added!

Dude I am an engineering student and I have to say I am impressed with your work. I have recommended your videos to all my friends and there all using your website and they Love it. We do have some suggestions if your thinking about the next implementation on you gptAnki. 1. Having images in anki, like a circuit skemitic, from textbook 2. Implementations of formulas, with the use of latex in anki, (ie. copying a equation from textbook into gpt, it turns it into a equation formatted in latex in anki) Thanks for your handwork! Truly a blessiing

Thank you so much! I'll look into your recommendations. There are some interesting plug-ins that might help with what you're describing.

Dang. I love you too. Great video. Maybe I should hire this guy as a tutor.

Wow this is great resource ! I don't really like to use google forms to test myself, I'm more of an Anki fangirl, but it will be useful for sharing with my classmates :)

I'm right there with you. This would be far to cumbersome to use as a daily study resource. But for storing and sharing questions, I think this works well!

This is awesome! Pretty straightforward and concise. Love it. Also what's your setup for your videos? Am thinking of starting a podcast

Lol I have a super budget set-up. Most of the time I record on my phone or my Logitech C920 HD pro webcam, my mic is a Samson q2u USB mic. And I have some cheap mountdog lights. But you should start your pod! I put off making videos for years. And it is way more fun that I thought it would be.

Love the content. I'm figuring out how to use this to make a med school practice exam for histology. Do you know where I would change the prompts, and can I add the notes given by the professor (with images) into Chat gpt to create questions?
@JakeRommMD

You could use the prompt from my other video about writing questions with chatGPT. You would just change it to be related to whichever histology topics your trying to review. Just make sure it's not hallucinating false information. The ability to include images in your prompts is a relatively new feature that started rolling out recently to ChatGPT+ users. There are also plug-ins that can be used to upload PDFs for chatgpt to review. If you're using the free version, it won't be able to see any images or files, but you can still include text from any notes your professor gives you. If you screen shot any pictures you want to use and upload them to a file in your Google drive, you can then paste the URLs manually into your Google forms quiz. Otherwise you can save URLs from web images and add them manually.

Great videos! Could you please make a script that pull the questions randomly from the bank, and put it automatically on the google form? Is it possible? Thanks!
@JakeRommMD
@JakeRommMD 8 месяцев назад
Thanks! I can see how that feature would be useful. I'll look into it. I can think of a few different ways of doing it, but it would be really great if there were a way to also filter out questions you have done and prevent them from being include in future random quizzes....I'll think about it.

Great video. Is there any way to make the feedback to answers appear after someone selects an answer choice rather than when you complete the whole quiz? I.e. after you select A on question one, the feedback appears only on question one.

Basically creating a sort of "tutor mode". This is a good question. I'm honestly not that familiar with Google forms to know off hand if this functionality already exists. I wrote this whole script with ChatGPT so you might be able to try this out. If you give the whole script to ChatGPT it will know what it's for, and maybe you can ask if this tutor mode function would be possible, and if so, have it make the necessary changes in the script. I'd be interested to hear what you find out. I'll add it to the list up updates and try to incorporate it into version 2 when I have the time.

How to change the running code if it is a true false type of question
@JakeRommMD

Just copy my source code and ask ChatGPT to make the modifications you want. That's what I would do.
