Dev said that the controller inputs were analog. So it's off or on for left and right I believe.

Gotta take the corner harder to gain more speed. The reason Warcans is faster is because he learns from his mistakes every death. While kAN just does the same thing over and over hoping it will be different, until the very end when he learned about the first corner to go faster.

I commented this on Kosmos's mountain video but it'll be interesting to see if you'd want to tackle it as well: a skatepark themed track. Gates are scattered throughout a skatepark with boosters strategically placed so there's no real route. You just have to manage your speed while running around collecting the gates before making it to the end. So like a RPG course from trackmania

kan, i can not stress this enought. as a avid trackmania player i've played no engine downhill tracks and i can tell you that every bit of speed you lose by hitting a crack or wall and taking your corners not agressive enought (going on the outside) will make you lose tons of time. as the speed and time loss cary over in the whole next part of the map.

American here; I've always heard portable toilets called porta-potty, outhouses are typically holes in the ground with wooden shacks around them. This is just how I've always heard them called, I could be wrong

Would be cool to see a loopty loop challenge track. Just like a butt lode of loops that make people nauseous.

that's a very nice track. I'm pretty sure if you keep building tracks to own Warcans, you'll end up being a great track builder.

I want an overlap where you keep going over the same intersection over and over and over again. Where it's like, 20 different short sections with checkpoints all meeting at a center point. Sorta like a turn table on train tracks. Just so that you are always in that center piece.

More reverse tracks would be awesome and please bring back the Dev to chat with. That was a super cool experience and I'd love to hear what he has to say about all the maps you guys have come out with, since we've seen him play a lot of them.

Can you make a track that switches between reverse and forward? The obvious way is just ramp in opposite directions with a fall, but I think you may be able to force a drift into a reverse section.

They're Porta Potties in the US as well an out house would of been for when a property didn't have an actual bathroom or plumbing in they're house back in the day but same concept you can just move one and the other is fixed to one spot

The first like, 6 minutes of this video was just kAN demonstrating how addicting this game is. "Okay, actual last attempt this time." This quote from the 3th last attempt, or something like 3rd. Not throwing any shade at anyone or any game, just found this bit funny.

15:46 That might be the place to turn around? Lots of air time if you take the pipe inflection that way. The only problem might be the track under your line is 45° tilted to the left where you jump off and 45° to the right where you land.

Hey kan I was thinking of a challenge for scrap mechanic called the scrap yard challenge 1. You have to get a handful of random vehicles not only from the workshop but also some personal vehicles. 2. Put all the vehicle in a group and put just a few explosives and explode the vehicles. 3. You all at the same time have 10 minutes (more or less if you'd like) to collect any left over parts 4. After you have your parts you have to create a vehicle to race. (You can change the challenge intended for the vehicle y'all make).

Porta potty is a thing in the states too. Not sure if it's a thing outside north america though, the UK for instance might call them something different.

11:17 seems like you could preserve or gain more speed if you took this turn further out, so you don't turn as sharply. I haven't played the game, so I don't know how the game feels like to play, so my only technical knowledge I have about the game is from your video playing against the dev.

Honestly, I think it would be fun to make a normal track which starts by boosting you uphill, and you had to break aggressively and let gravity take you back behind the start line, to then get on a much quicker part of the course, which takes a few times less time than the normal obvious longer route, and ends with a downhill part so you could simply wait before the finish line and beat other people's record by a few seconds or fractions of a second, giving the race something like 30-40 minutes, so everyone has plenty of chances but you still beat them by a few seconds every time. To make things more interesting, you could also add a way to cheat something like 10-20 seconds of the course, with a secret booster right before a rock which is off the main track, which to launch you past a part of the track while not being seen by those doing the track correctly, and use that the first time to get people to think there are more secret routes, as a bait, to distract them from the real quicker route. Using fans, once they get added, would make this even better, since you wouldn't see the hidden fan-boost which gets you on the quicker secret track.

You could go under the race car to gain a lot more speed i think. I am shocked you didn't try that

you could have a track with parts in reverse and parts forward, not sure how feasible that is, maybe with some huge booster stacks forcing you to instantaneously go backwards for example

I thought of using a reverse start to force players to flip around and find their line; but never considered the *whole* track in reverse. ... Wonder how this plays with boosts.

I bought Zeepkist for me and my friends because I loved the content here, and gotta say it was totally worth it

The time gains was because they used the tube top ride perfectly. If you know what you are doing in racing games with tubes you can gain speed on them.

Not sure how I feel about Zeepkist as a speed game. If you do the same exact thing 50 times in a row, then you should get the same result in a racing game, but Zeppkist has indeterministic physics, so you would get 50 different results, just hoping that random physics don't mess up your run.

Now its time for Revers Full Speed map just like your FS map a few weeks ago but in revers. more FS map in general but it would be nice to have Realy technicals turns / S bends. (aka break a lot and need a perfect racing line)

Hey kan. I know this is an old video but just for reference porta potties or Porta-Johns or outhouses. All those terms are pretty much interchangeable here in the states

I tried to make a maze/repeat ways track but with 2 kids it's really hard to get time. Maybe you should try those two? My concepts. Maze track Multiple paths and must get find and hit 2 check points before finishing. Some are longer than others and some dead ends that turn you around. Repeat the track makes a loop but over the starting line is a split. One side is a gate and the other the finish. This forces the racers to do the track twice.

An outhouse is a tiny 'shed' smaller than a portajohn from the days before in home plumbing and sewers. There are various names but port-a-__ is standard because it's a portable toilet. The last word varies. (From usa)

We’ve got port a potties in the US, and everyone I know calls them that, but I’m pretty sure its a brand name. Lots of people will just say toilet instead.

Just tried it for the first time, you can turn around fairly quickly on the crane arm right at the start, I think you can get it down to 5 seconds, I'm at 7 seconds currently, and only .5 off author

I a spot where you can possibly turn around. After the first crane thing on the cylinders that transition between the left and right you almost did it once by accident but you turned to late. The trick is that you need to turn a millisecond before you get air.

How about buildinga track that has a bunch of fake routes that trip people up. You could also try to build a track that starts forward but then requires you to go backwards

Idea build a track where your best time is like 8 minutes and then open it for 10 so basically you only have 1 try

You should make a course that looks like it has to be done one way and it’s super difficult but you actually have to jump off or turn around to finish it

How about a track where you have to get hit by the hammer to move faster. Maybe rotate it sideways, then you drive into its path to get a nice little push.
