Logic blocks in shortcuts in the first half of the track that cause things to happen in the second half of the track that slows down more than the shortcuts sped up
"Crest Brake Technique" finally I know what CBT stands for! I've heard it explained before, but the person couldn't remember what initialism actually was.
These new zeepkist track lobbies are a great example of how AI would learn to drive a racetrack. It starts with a bunch of random lines and gradually converges on the 1 optimal line.
@@ProfessorOfLogicAtUnvOfScience machine learning is often the single most crucial element to an AI, it's how you create the intelligence part of the artificial intelligence, is by having it learn things........
@@commodorex machine learning is a specific type of learning... its quite literally just trial and error... there is far more to intelligence than just throwing crap at the wall till something sticks.
The best way to win the lobby is to have a bunch of obvious shortcuts to waste their time, then sprinkle in some less obvious shortcuts that actually work (or a big secret one)
An Idea if you block shortcuts again: dont make solid roofs or walls, put holes and indents in them, so people can find those and think that it might be a hidden shortcut, only to run into another dead end :D
I was lucky enough to get into the public lobby when you were recording the other day, and I’ve waited all week to see how people were getting sub-1 minute times on this map. Turns out I just need to get good! :). Loved the track!
See now...if kAN had Dapper level cheese skills, he would make that ceiling..but there WOULD be some place on it where you can drop down. So everybody would try to skip, land on the ceiling, get mad and restart. But only he would know there is a hole to get to the checkpoint.
@@SupasitPhungrattana I'm just saying that that is why Dapper wins his own tracks more often. With this track, it didn't take long before it just because a skill race. So kAN had no chance.
So, this is the first Zeepkist video I catch within a 2 months window. I have been watching eagerly each and everone that gets into my feed. But most of them are 2+ years old
You need sneaky shortcuts. It's the only way. Use your logic prowess to create all the secret passageways that only a creator would know the triggers for.
You should replace the checkpoints with more barriers forcing the track (there are a few 0 checkpoint shortcuts but I assume that's why the checkpoints are there)
Next time you can make a map that looks like having shortcut, which doesn't have shortcuts, but actually do. Like litle openings in the invicible walls you have there. That way, the real determent people find it :p
Is there a reason you can just gun it to the left on the first turn and pray you land in the sand on the left? I didn't see an invis wall blocking that.
Invisible walls are still for uncreative and lazy developers, Its fine in this instance because it's trolling friends but dang I absolutely hate it when I encounter them in any game
