I Built a Villager COLOSSEUM in Minecraft Hardcore (#51)

I love how Wadzee doesn’t even mention worrying about dying at all anymore. At this point he’s basically invincible.

I think adding some glow berries and gold stuff to the tree would give it a nice mythical vibe. Like it is a golden apple tree.

I think he should let more villagers wander around inside, that way itll look more busy and as if they are trading and shopping with eachother

For the tree: i wouldnt recommend getting the leaves flat on every spot, i would leave some air between the leaves, so they dont look that hard, and a little softer! Hope you see this!

Two minor critiques, on a very high level, might I add: I think the reason the tree looks a bit weird isn't necessarily because of the size, but because its foliage is extremely dense, making it look like a rather uninteresting sphere of green. I think it could do wonders to break it up by making it have several smaller sections where the foliage becomes a bit denser, and between that, let some of the branches shine through. Finally, add a few more lanterns and some vines and it would make a huge difference. Secondly, as some other commenter already said, add a few more villagers to liven up the place! No marketplace is truly complete without having to shuffle through a bustling crowd. Maybe, in the future, just to give it that extra spice, you could even try to transport villagers from different biomes like the desert and jungle to your trading station, making the crowd even more diverse and colorful.

tbh, if i were u, i would make the tree expand out, not just like a sphere. Maybe covering the whole top

It would be awesome if you made a mob museum! You have to collect every mob that’s obtainable in the game and make a section for it! Keep up the content 👍🏼

Instead of a tree, I would recommend making some sort of statue, possibly a villager or totem of undying. I think the build is much more suited for a statue. Awesome vids, hope you see this (:

Wadzee Just to in form you:The tree is just to circular on the top that is why it looks weird if you make the branches spread out away from the middle it will look better. At least I think😊

He should turn that “desert” into a deserted pyramid. So he has a ocean and sand pyramid (Even though you did already)

To think that WadZee made his first RU-vid video over 2 years ago and it wasn’t even minecraft, yet now we’re here watching him be the god of minecraft. Notch would approve

disclaimer: I really enjoy your videos you asked for help on the tree and it is what we (the builders) call a "lollipop" tree. It means that it looks like a lollipop, it's way to round at the top and the stem is just straight out of the ground. And of course, if you place a little less leaves, te branches you built (aren't perfect but I am mentioning it anyways) will be visible so the work wasn't for nothing. The water around the tree could be grass, just my opinion, it would look better. that's why the tree feels so out of place for you. I hope this helped you and anyone seeing this!

But it became a Ferengi Colosseum. :D Maybe this is what you don't find attractive on that tree, Wadzee: Its crown is a bit to spherical for a natural tree (I know some trees try to grow spherical crowns). Maybe make one or two branches stretch further out and/or put some air holes between the branches at a few places. Maybe put different leaves in it, for example darker ones more to the top and lighter ones more to the bottom (or the other way around, or inwardoutward)with the two fading into each other. Just some ideas.

Fun Fact: One year of real life is equivalent to 72 years in minecraft. So if WadZee would have had the world open since he made 100 villagers (which ik he didn't lol), they would have been sat there for over 72 years

Wadzee! There is an episode of Hermitcraft in season 7 where Iskall85 is adding leaves to his Omega Tree base, and he discusses how "punching holes" in the leaves gives much needed depth to custom trees. Basically, try removing some leaves and adding a little shape to your design! Also I'd just like to say your videos are so well edited!

Maybe next Episode: a trail system/ train system to all your builds.

The tree: I just think the greenery is just a bit too much of a single blob instead of reaching out in places but this built!! Epic 👍🏻

The tree looks a bit too round and "new" when the colosseum is broken down a lil bit. Maybe flatten the leaves out a lil bit, make it more of a hanging tree instead (like bits drooping and hanging down, vines, etc), an overgrown root or two breaking through the colosseum floor. Match the vibes.

I personally think the tree is too bulky I'd suggest making the tree abit skinnier/lenghtier, opening up the spaces between the leaves and try make actual branches instead of having a ball of leaves plopped mid center This way it will look more airy and less cramped, plus it helps to let some natural light get through. Maybe you could add some greenery and roots at the bottom of the tree. Adding single glass panes mid air make a cool leaf falling effect! I'd also suggest to make the inner walls on the second floor just a few blocks taller, the design is great and definely adds something to the structure, but it's a tad bit too cramped and I hope by making those abit taller that it would help that issue. Though I do like the idea! And I love the blockchoices you made, keep it up!

I have been watching Wadzee for a few years now and I can tell you, the quality of his videos has come a long way. He has made them more interesting and fun to watch. This episode has amazed me at how good the editing is and I can't wait for the next one.

I really like this build reminds me of villager trading halls of hermit craft, the tree adds a nice touch of green but in my opinion the canopy of the tree is really quite spherical, maybe that’s what you don’t like about it as well

This man amazes me with his ability to hold back from bragging about everything he has built. And his dedication is flawless. I'm sad I didn't see this sooner.

Feels like the tree crown is just too thick and dense, maybe would be a better centrepiece if it had about half as many leaves, with more air between layers and shapes

Maybe do an episode making everything more connected, like roads, paths and decorations with lights and plants by the entrances to make it all feel like one town

These are genuinely a joy to watch.

The tree needs to show effects of Gravity, its really a common mistake when making giant trees like this. And for your Giant oak tree try to have some of the branches visible from below and try not to make the leaves too rounded.

I love how good hes gotten at building since this series started. And his editing feels so high quality!

the tree looks great, especially for someone who doesn't make things like that too often, but my suggestion, which would probably fix what you're unsure about, is to add more definition to the branches in the leaves. It would look less bulky, and make the colosseum more visible too. Awesome video though

WadZee perfected the "random blocks in the walls" technique when he did 1 block skyblock.

Try replacing some of the exposed log ends with solid bark blocks! That'll make it look more natural.

Whenever Wadzee creates a new project the first thing he thinks about it is CIRCLE. A new project a new CIRCLE. Hey I’m not blaming him circles are cool.

I think the tree should be more palm-y (?) Like more thin leaves for light to illuminate and not just dense clumped ball of leaves
