I built a Weld table and it isn't terrible - Cheap DIY project 

I am not an experienced welder or fabricator. I'm just an auto mechanic learning to weld. This is in no way a tutorial or How To. It's just something I needed to do in order to have a space to work on.
I picked up the steel from Welding Supermarkets. The prices are good if you don't have it shipped. I'd recommend driving to their nearest location. The steel cost $250, but that's with extra steel tubing. The plate is 3/16" and I believe the steel tubing 1/4" thick (2" by 2" dimension).
