I Built a Working Dungeon in Minecraft Hardcore! 

im the builder of the dungeon crawler build you saw on pinterest! very impressed at how u made an actual working dungeon crawler all in survival and i really like the wither boss fight room idea!

U could make witherproof wall with watered stairs, wither can break obsidian with blue skulls, nice project

You should put curse of vanishing on most of the items worn by mobs so your inventory isn’t flooded by the same items

Just so you know- obsidian walls aren't witherproof, as blue skulls fired from wither can break them, along with wither colliding with them (I thought you would've known since you probably use an obsidian farm, for which withers breaking obby is a key mechanic)

Worked on my dungeon crawler in Minecraft for over 2 years. Love to see others doing dungeon crawlers as well.

@TheBestCubeHD Hey, thank you for this world. I did a first try and died on the first "half diamond/half iron" zombies. So at the moment I did not see the whole dungeon, but I'd like to give you some feedback on the part a played so far: 1. The puzzle with the 12 buttons is way to hard. After trying and trying I put a hole into the ground and had a look at the redstone. EVEN AFTER KNOWING which buttons to press in which sequence, it was very, very hard to be fast enough. Finally, I got it, but it's definitely nothing one could find out by accident/by try and error. SIMPLE FIX: Set the repeaters on a delay. (And maybe either use less fake buttons, or give some hints one could interprete.) 2. The vines are some very nice decoration. It comes with the problem, that mobs often climb up on them and get stuck, so they're easy to kill. I had that problem at least five times in my one try, so it's not really neglectable. 3. The world size is way too big. 3.2 GB unfolded, and it's needed 2 times (the world you play and the world to backup from after dying). If you update this world, and if it's possible for you, I'd appreciate a world that contains only the needed chunks (that will need a third party software). That's my suggestions for now. A big thank you for giving us this dungeon!!

Being a fan of Hermitcraft and seeing Decked Out, I already knew that dungeon crawlers were possible in Survival Mode. But MAN, are dungeon crawlers awesome to see comw to life!!!

You should try n make it re-usable. So that once you've completed the dungeon you go out, you hit a button. Mob farm starts generating mobs again, skeletons and zombies gets separated and given the right armor and sent to the right locations. Once all the mobs are in place a light turns on indicating you can use the dungeon again.

If you wanted to keep it roofless but not the zombies dying, you could have put a layer of glass just above the dungeon on max height build, it count as bloc above their head and they don’t burn

One good idea : making a room s ceiling with stairs to make a maze on the top which could lead the player to the real button

It’s be cool to found generation with spawners on same level and make a infinite mob spawning, and also wearing system for automatic refill of this dungeon. But still very nice building ❤

If you would have covered the obsidian dome in yellow wool the dungeon would have looked like a giant EGG. Which I think would be fun, not on theme, but fun. Unless the treasure at the end is a chicken dinner!

Would love to see more use of the amethyst glass (blanking on the name). It prevents sunlight, so the mobs won't burn but you can still see into your masterpiece.

I am building one at the moment inside a giant piramide ( total 3 floors on top of eachother, total floor surface around the same as you did ) ... also in survival with some sidesteps to a single player creative world to test things, you gave me some good advice and a few idea's I will use in mine.. When you give mobs the armor pieces, you don't need the nametags. Mobs don't despawn if they are wearing or carrying an item dropped by a player.

Obsidian could be lore building for the dungeon. Maybe add some books in there alluding to the boss as well as making lore for why and how the place was made and became a ruin
