I always wanted to build a multiplayer game but I'm not a game developer, I'm a web developer. then I thought, why don't we build a multiplayer game with my web development skills?
I can't create a game like Minecraft, or Fortnite because they are built by companies, where 100s of developers work together to build these games. Here I'm the only developer.
So, I'm gonna create a small game that involves a multiplayer feature. After brainstorming for 1 hour I came up with 2 games chess and rock paper scissors. I decided to build rock paper scissors😅.

Thank You for watching the video. To show user scores in the leaderboard, you have to call an event every time someone wins. on the backend update the leaderboard and broadcast that data to everyone. check out the docs of socket.io for more info.
