I built Howl's Moving Castle in Animal Crossing 

You could use small parts of the island to make like the different cities that the Moving Castle connects with in the movie and connect them through pipes!

I think the castle looks.. close enough? As close as you can make it in this game? Either way the build itself looks very fun and I love it, especially with the added glowing moss and flowers But also bestie don't force yourself to build an entire island for a theme you don't want to do anymore. Just build what you're inspired to build on this island and then scrap it and start something else you'll actually enjoy. If that means only 2 Howl's themed builds, then so be it! This game is meant to be fun.

The movie with the killer tire is called Rubber, haha. I feel like this is a hard build trying to get everything to group together, but it's a good start! Maybe one of the gazebos would work well for the dome on top of the castle? Glad to see a new video up. ☺️

i love it honestly! also, calling a lizard an insect ... i can't! unsolicited suggestion (feel free to ignore): i think to give the bottom level more of a rounded feel, maybe move the lunar landers to the front corners, rather than having them peak out behind the retro transportation stops.

EJ I’m only a few mins in but if you don’t want to do this theme anymore please feel comfortable changing your mind and building a different themed island! I love Howl’s Moving Castle and was really excited for this theme, but I’ve learned that it’s more important for the person playing to be enjoying themselves. ❤️ Edit: Your “Sonora” “Sedona” moment was me the other day with “Sahara” “Savannah” because I couldn’t remember which was the camel. My friend said it sounded like I was buffering. 😂 My favourite small thing that crawls is a human baby because I love kids and can’t think of anything but bugs now. 😂🙃😭

You could make the rest of the island the wastelands with the villagers as lil traders and sorcerers to help u on ur journey 🥺 that'd keep it nice and natural/rural!!

I love how this turned out! You were really in your element with this build. I think the only thing missing is a "face" for the front, and I have no idea what items might work for making that more clear. As for crawly things, I like praying mantises. They're so damn stylish, and not to mention powerful?

You should just start a podcast idk you can just go on about random stuff and make it work

I FEEL SO SORRY ABOUT YOU HAVING TO BE IN THAT SITUATION BUT IT WAS ALSO HILARIOUS! I would also think that I was going to die in that moment with my anxiety and just knowledge of crimes that happen on roads like that. Amazing build i wish I was this talented of a builder in acnh :3 Also my favorite tiny animal is either a snake when its in a cage and cant hurt me or a Bearded Dragon Lizard because I had one as a class pet then the teacher accidently killed her :(

Look I'm just spitballin' here, but you wouldn't really even need to restart or change the name of the island if you just switch it to being based on The Music Man (🎶 InnnnnnGary Indiana, Gary Indiana, Gary Indianaaaaa...🎵🎶).

Fave insects: first of all bees, because, thank you ladies for doing the most out here to keep us all alive- but, for style points, the rosy maple moth. She looks like if you asked the Jim Henson Creature Shop for a moth but also make her a drag queen. P.S. love that you threw in the My Favorite Murder catchphrase there at the end. 😊

I think you got the point across. Maybe you could throw in a few simple panels with art from the movie to sell the "face" and "dome"? But honestly if you're not feeling this theme then please continue just with the other island that's making you happy. We'll enjoy it just as much if not more because you're enjoying it too. Also I have way too many favorite bugs. So I'll say a bearded dragon. I had one and she was the best and most beautiful crawly friend.

I think it's great!! I love the fish banner and the telephone pole for the back part of it, and the HHA trophy! Like others have said, since you're limited to three or four levels, I think you've made the most of the space you're afforded. I also like the scarecrow tucked away in there :~) Also, I think it'll especially read as the castle once other buildings/town areas (?) are built if you do plan to build them, since they won't be as complicated/cluttered/machine-y as this one -- or even just compared to the villager houses. Also, if it's viewed a bit of a ways off while on a second level, maybe that would help for photographing it? Q: My favorite insects are caddisfly larvae and weevils!

Also my fave insects are monarch butterflies - like maybe butterfly is a basic answer but like - they are pretty and they are cool okay!!?? The whole metamorphosis metaphor is too good!!

I actually finally watched this movie because of you! I had it on my list FOREVER but just never got around to it but then I wanted to understand the island inspired you were building so I watched it…and it’s officially my FAVORITE Studio Ghibli film 😍

Snakes are cool and beautiful and scales actually feel very nice to the touch and i hate they get a bad rap. Cool build, loved how it contrasted wt all the flowers at the end :)

I was out with my partner years ago and we were driving in the absolute middle of nowhere. Didn’t see a person or a car for like an hour, driving through the bush in a car that was not designed to be driving where we were driving. Then randomly we saw a guy in a field, just all by himself. And he gave me the creeeeps. I was like ok I’m gonna die 😂😂😂😂😂 I didn’t though, clearly lol

Yay, you’re back! 😊 I have never seen Howl’s Moving Castle but it reminds me so much of a RU-vid video I came across of a couple who live on a man-made island. All sorts of things thrown together, like gardens in the middle of a damn lake. Very cool though!

I think it looks pretty good for working within the limits of the game. My favorite insect is a praying mantis. They're just so cool.

As someone that has driven across the US several times (CA to FL) I agree it's kinda scary out there at night. The stars are gorgeous but there's a reason my ass gets a hotel when the sun starts setting lol I also don't let my fuel go below half a tank so I don't end up in some dodgy gas station either. I've done this trip "alone" with just my son who was like 4 before and would hate to break down or get stuck somewhere. Glad y'all are safe!! Anyway, this turned out pretty cool. It def has the round shape and b/c the castle has so much weird shit attached to it this def works. To answer your question...I like frogs. I have a small water garden bowl thingy outside and frogs lay eggs in it and there are baby tadpoles right now and I just love them. They do this each year and it's so fun to see them growing in there! And bugs, I like butterflies and snails the most. We have HUGE ones here (in Okinawa) and I think they're neat.

lizards are also my fave crawly thing here in nz we have this native prehistoric lizard called a tuatara and i pet a baby one at the zoo once (it was 10 years old- still considered a baby because they live between 100-200 years) n it felt like broccoli :o) the castle looks great! I feel like the gazebo would look really great on the top level too to add to the domes peeking out

about you not wanting to do the theme anymore: honestly I would live if you finished it but just reset! put a pin in it and pick it up when you actually feel like it also, ghibli's whole motto was like "protect nature or whatever" so a natural theme would be amazing anyway! edit: also the castle looks great! its not exact but i can tell what it is w/o context and it looks good
