@@jimmyk9523 first test run will always be way slower than the actual speed, especially for Hyperia. They had the lift hill on the slowest speed and the track and wheels haven't worn in.

@@TheKnexMaker I still have an attic filled with 600 kilograms of K'NEX and since a year or so a 3D printer as well. But also a job and other hobbies. Surrealistic to remind myself that Koloss was 10 years ago... Early August I will come over to the UK and see how Hyperia is in real life, assuming it is running properly by then...

yh I dont have a lot of space either. they only way I can do my big builds is buy building in sections and taking it outside, but something big and compact like the smiler or Everest just wouldn't be possible for me

when I do coasters with longer trains, around 5 or more cars when using a heavier design like hyperia. the knex chain is too weak to lift the train in any reliable manner. knex chain is quite weak. the original knex trains (5 cars) is only around 150-200 grams at most. this train was my heaviest train at 605 grams!. my 7 car shambhalla train almost 2 years ago was 550. so this was a very heavy train. Hyperion (my last project) was around 450-500 grams. and that coaster the chain would snap almost 50% of the time 😂. its a balancing act between weight (for more speed) and making a working lift. sadly. and I underestimated the leangth of the station and break run I needed so it was short when I took it outside. its hard to build a full coaster indoors section by section and have it all line up perfectly. also tube supports are weaker than cube supports (the ones I used on hyperion)

it took a few attempt to get the right speed. unfortunatly the ground outside is very uneven and the train loses a lot more speed compared to when I build indoors. thats why there was a cheaky roll back clip in there lol

I definitely want to one day. But saw the ride is my priority right now

im definitely going to stick to well known coasters as they help the channel with more viewership from them being popular. so them 2 can definitely go on my list.

yup! I'm so excited for hyperia to open! im watching all the update videos out there! its my local park, Im only 15-20 mins away!

Saw the ride is next. And I did wildcats revenge from hersheypark before. I also like to stick to projects that haven't already been done before by other knex creators. Like I wanted to do iron gwazi but someone already best me to it. But I'll happily do zadra in the summer instead

my next 1-2 projects will be smaller in part count and a bit quicker to build. but still very good builds. its the one I have planned after that. the mid summer build the re-uses one of my older knex trains 😉 that projects will be a huge project!

no sorry the track I use is much bigger and you would need to re design a alot of stuff to make it work on the smaller micro track

I build big custom builds with 30-70k parts. I also use the older sets from early 2000's screamin serpent is the main one. They stopped selling then in 2010 after economy crash

No, I've never painted them before for other projects. The track parts were made in black, green, yellow, blue and red. So I need to paint them for white and gold. I try not to paint them though as it's expensive and messy

Yh, sadly some of the tight spaces my gopro wouldn't fit. And one I toon it outside on the uneven ground I couldn't get any successful full test runs. You can see on my tiktok clip how much I had to throw the train over the top just to get a full run. That's the issues with not having my own yard, workshop or place to build that level and flat 😞

@BadwolfFPV I like the higher quality of the gopro 12 though. I'm gunna make a smaller dedicated gopro 12 train car for future povs though
