fright knights vs crown knights :) cloth banners are from www.etsy.com/s... graveyard wall technique inspiration from @EdgeofBricks custom armor prints from cultbricks.de/en #lego #legocastle #legominifigures
5:48 Fun fact, arrow slits do sometimes appear on the bottom of castles, but not on the ground floor because this would give the defenders better view and range to the outside. The defenders would built wooden scaffolds and ramps in order to get to them from what i've gathered and they're commonly 5 ft off the ground
Lore adds so much to this mocs story! Loving it❤ I personally think that the bright green is little too bright for that part, (it could be better if it would blend gradually) but the moc looks amazing still❤ those accessories like tent and supply vaggon are amazing. Also that graveyard is so cool with the skeleton placements! Overall amazing moc and I am waiting to see more mocs❤ (whispering house of the dragon season 2 :)
This is probably your most inspiring video yet! I love it!! The vampire knight CMF is just the perfect CMF to army build. Great post and keep it coming !
This is a very nice Moc, with quite a bit of balance on either side. I love the choices of minifigs, terrain and the castle section just looks professional. You could probably expand it a little to have slightly more room for Basil's camp and on the other side to make the castle larger. Still, I think it is a complete scene on its own and you can reposition and change the minifigure scenes on occasion to make it a little more fresh if you desire to do so. Thanks for the upload!
We definitely need a part 2 ! With a longer terrain too, so that you can have more of the cemetery and more tents, with the camp further from the rempart
I love the background story. The setting really is great. I would love to see it all expanded. Your skills of moc building is getting better every time. You have done a great job on this. Keep going.
love the vid! can't wait for part 2! I also have a little suggestion, you should give the golden king some shoulder pads, because he looks very underdressed compared to the army.
Two things look off to me in this moc: 1: That red tree is very out of place, at least the little hill it sits on. You have all these darker, earthy colors with brown, tan and that green idk the name of, and then boom, suddenly a big bright green blob with basically no gradient. I think recoloring the hill or adding a few bright greent plates could help. 2: That tan overhang on the castle walls looks really minecrafty. You could've added wooden supports in the back for the area where the figures stand, and make the battlements sit on those upside down slopes, maybe with alternating 1x2s or 1x1s. These are only my stupid nitpicks, I still love the build and the video! I'm not a "professional moc builder" nor an artist, it's just how I'd have done it, and at the end of the day, the only thing that matters in moc building is that you enjoyed doing the build :)
I would love to see this expanded, with maybe a bigger siege camp and a little bit more of the castle. Also those Mordor orcs that are working for Bazil would be a cool addition
It looks great dude! Would love to see more for sure! It’s so much fun to see you really diving into MOC building and having fun with it. Thanks for sharing with us
Отлично вышло, особенно понравилось как ты присоединил зелёный блок с деревом боком, возьму себе на заметку такую технику постройки. Спасибо, ставлю лайк в поддержку. Привет из России.☺️👍
Imagine the divided men of the southern Isle get brainwashed by basil, like the hyenas by scar in turn for 'unification'. Also I think the battle pack of the fright knights would work fine with this scene! 😍 love it
Definitely would say expand on the mix make the area in between the castle and the camp more separated. Add towers to the castle maybe a keep in the back. I would give the fright nights, a siege weapon like a trebuchet.
I love the lore and the moc. this is one of my favourite videos from you I guess it helps that I have over 50 crown knights too 😅 I would love to see you expand this moc into a full castle
Man you make the best Lego medieval ever like these are incredible if you ever made your own Lego RPG medieval video game I would definitely buy a heartbeat keep up all the hard work play God bless you ❤️
Looks awesome and the detailing is on another level! Just a tiny little remark: I would like to see an arch over the gate supporting the nexoknight-shields. It'll be more realistic from a static-perspective :)
Looks great man. I army build 2013 crown knights (I have 30 + the king) and this looks like something I would make for my faction. A little tip if you want more of these knights I recommend set 70806. It's a lego movie set that gives you 2 crown knights and a lot of banners and insignia to use as details. I personally bought 2. Love your stuff, keep up the good work.
That MOC looks great! One thing I’d suggest is to try and upgrade basil to help him stand out more from the other knights. I used a black Imperium armor and a Bone King torso coupled with an old Stone Warrior pair of legs from Ninjago to keep the coloring consistent but look more armored up. Only downside is the cape fits weird, but it looks really cool!
Every video of yours makes me want to buy Lego lol. I'm currently working on a fantasy world and am really enjoying all your videos. It's great inspiration and iI think your ability to have such aesthetically clean mocs is why i keep coming back to your videos. Keep it up
i’d love to see a part 2 that features the skeletons on the frontlines as cannon fodder- even though if any of basil’s living warriors perished they could be necromance’d, they’re more good to him alive XD
Hi Goldfyre, love the way you customise your mini figures. I acquired 3 bat lords and 2 vintage sets at a great price, I like the idea of using lion knights back to front to increase your army. Regards from Dave UK. .
This lore goes so deep and I am so excited to see what comes next, I can't wait to try to make lore for my own medieval world😄 (Also, I would love to see a part two)
I would love to see u expand the castle, but u really should get some real crown knights if ur gonna keep building their castle, and since you can get like 5 to 7 crown knights for the price of one tournament knight I don't think they are out of ur price range :D
Really love the your Crown Knights designs I don't know if this is because I'm biased because I have a small army of bootleg 2013 Lion Knights that I have for a long time, but regardless, your guys look really cool Also, 00:21: Skeletons!!! :D
There's another D&D themed Lego set that's going to be released, one that includes a Dragonborn character. With enough of said minis, you (or someone else like you) could create a whole dragon army
Love the moc, and want to see more, but want the story to continue!, this is a great Idea, Recently Got the cape for my OG Childhood Basil, to go with the Undead CMF Basil, and then have an incomplete one that I am calling Bazel, the badly resurected zombie Basil.
