You should try a space dogfight, basically use mods for zero gravity, and make a space fighter with no blocks from the wing section(to simulate lack of atmosphere). The only method of control would be thrusters. Nighttime is optional, and set a power core and block limit. I believe that it could be fun and challenging.
Even though this has been done before, seeing it again with Yuzei and the gang would be amazing. Especially if they could somehow have Kan, Moonbo, Kosmo, and the others Scrapman and Yuzei have been playing with recently (I haven't had time to remember their names, I really should)
Pro tip: if you remove the controls from all dynamite but one you get a bigger boom. Not sure why but I think it's because you get a lot of consecutive booms that propell you over a longer period of time rather than one big boom that only pushes you for a fraction of a second. You can't see the difference in the explosion but you can see the effect especially when you wan to make stuff go up a lot
Quite sure the game probably has a limit on how much force can be applied in one frame. Because it takes place over multiple frames, it bypasses the limit.
The shape of the bomb makes me think of cargo shipping containers, which made me think of a recent megaproject futurology people are hyping. Essentially Cargo Blimps to replace cargo ships. I was thinking you guys rarely use the balloons and Airship parts so it might be a fun challenge of collecting and transporting explosive cargo containers from one point to another like the cargo ship races you've done before.
You can increase the destructive potential by removing the outer layer of explosives and surrounding it with single-attachement-point indestructible seats. It will accelerate all the seats supersonic, and they will vapourize anything they hit.
I was going to suggest a similar thing, except using layers of regular small blocks. With testing, it should be possible to design the perfect fragmentation bomb. An explosive core, maybe with sensors to activate on impact (or a set distance above ground / impact), a layer of blocks intended to hold everything together but ultimately be vaporized and a layer of say pipe pieces that will form a field of individual pieces of shrapnel. If we can get this bomb working, then I see a perfect 2v2 bomber verses ground vehicle multiplayer battle video in the future. Everyone who likes this idea, thumbs up and comment to help get Scrapmans attention and support.
@@aadenkutzner4903 umm, no. The correct term is High Explosive Fragmentation Munition. A cluster bomb, in trail makers, would be a simple 1x8 block with a distance sensor on the front and four fins on the tail, each set to a small positive number so that it spins when released. The rest of the 1x8 block will be covered in detachable blocks holding individual dynamite blocks which will be activated in close proximity to the ground. That plus the spinning will scatter the sub munitions in small to medium area surrounding the impact location of the carrier and most should explode on impact, however some may not and will end up acting as land mines. So you see the difference now in the cluster munition? Edit: oops, I guess I REALLY have Stormworks on my mind at the minute, corrected game name. At least I got the parts correct.
So if you do a little bit of math, you realize that the explosion was 0.0024 kilotons, or 2.4 metric tons of dynamite. For reference, if this exploded by the Washington monument, you would have shattered windows and crispy people out to Sylvan Theatre. Which is a radius of 160m (or for the Americans, that's about 175 AR-15s stock to barrel).
Scrapman i would like to see a 1v1v1v1 dogfight where everyone builds a plane and you randomly chose who gets whos plane you can get your own if you are lucky the creator also gets to chose the camera angel you have to use this can be a camera block.
as the planes will be randomly selected for others to use just to make it a bit harder the flight controls and weapons could also be messed up from what everyone is used to using
Kinda sad there was no *DELAYED ANNIHILATION* (so far) Like, it's not too long after, but it takes a little longer than expected to fully blow up the things, it's by definition delayed
I think it would be better to have the dynamite spread out, if they are all just conceived in one area they explosions are just going to overlap each and it will look like there was just one explosive. So I think that could be done by either spreading the dynamite out in line a circle conveying note area, or have just the middle explode and design it in such a way that the outer layers can detach and fly away, if that’s possible
Day 3: Here's an idea, 3 of you make planes that chase someone in a car, and the planes are loaded with explosives, and the wings detach from the plane to turn into a missile-like thing! You try to hit the car before they hit you with some kind of air defense. The 3 planes would be VERY vulnerable because of the explosives, which is why there are 3!
Suggestion for VS: Based on the mechanics used in this video, 2v2, and each person makes half a vehicle, one vehicle is the 'vehicle' and the other vehicle is the 'firing platform'. The vehicle is there purely for movement, in control of the wheels/engines/rockets/etc. The firing platform is there purely for attacking; no movement control outside aiming itself. Then the two vehicles have to be able to connect, either through magnets or anchor pins. Then, battle it out. Bonus points if you allow one half of the vehicle to repair if needed, and destroying the other is the goal of destruction.
16:35 Imagine you're playing the Stranded campaign, someone joins with an unsuspecting vehicle, and all of a sudden their creation starts flinging salvages across the map
BUILD IDEA: You and your friends each build a vehicle independently that attach to each other to make a "Megazord" like from old power rangers. They need to be functional on their own and when combined!
VID IDEA: u and some others need to make one viechle with limited amount of blocks and powercores and 2 minigunsand the viechle needs to be able to drive float and fly and then u fight. U can do multiple rounds between all the modes and one where u do all at once! (This would be so fun to see)
"I must be made of superman, I shouldn't have survived that" is now my favorite quote and I will use it WHENEVER my character survives something they shouldn't have Time stamp for the quote: 5:09
Fun with English! "Dynamite" is an uncountable noun because it's liquid mixed with a powder. That's why it has no plural form. However, it's usually packed into sticks, so the sticks become singular or plural instead: one stick of dynamite, multiple sticks of dynamite.
TIP for the future heavy lifting: the variable weight (like this big bomb) should go underneath the center of lift! becouse if you have it under the center of mass it will make the plane more nose heavy and the pitching ability is reduced. if you have it in the center of lift, then it would just lower the center of mass as a whole and irl at least make the plane more stabile and sould not influence the pitching ability. keep up the good work! cheers.
I used the comma and period < > keys to check the frames, at 6:45 when he rams the bomb with a bigger craft about 5 seconds later I counted a max speed of 2,093 kph. That's almost mach 1.7
what's wild is that 2.3 tonnes is small for a bomb. Single engine dive bombers could carry that. The Lancaster would typically carry 6.4 tonnes, but also carried the 10 tonne Grand Slam earthquake bomb, the largest conventional bomb of WW2.
"Sir, after countless hours of excruciatingly meticulous work , we have finally produced the most destructive bomb imaginable, how should we call it?" "Blueprint # 933"
Idea: Vehicle battle. Just build anything that will hopefully get you the win. Let's see Howmush destruction we can see when you're only limited to your imagination (and the 700 block limit). Maybe build a plane with 5 of every weapon? Maybe build a truck with 20 miniguns on the back. Or maybe build a submarine that can fly so you can hide under the water. I think it's will be fun too see what everyone comes up with.
i would love to see Scarpman get one of his friends and not tell them about the TNT Bomb but use them as a third person camera to see what that looks like, then try come up with a mini game using the TNT Bomb.
It'd be so cool if the game actually had a realistic scaling algorithm for explosions. That cube probably has a few percent of a nuke which would be epic to see.
just this idea alone reminds me of my favorite type of build to make, things with weapons that i just make myself, mainly bombers as well, not easy to just make a full on gun, but still a cool lil challenge to do in general
Aw that was so cool. Scrapman you make the best trailmakers vids! Suggestion! What about a 2v2 battle. Team A has a cargo plan with a big dynamite bomb. Team B has a battleship or tank something. Team A is trying to drop the bomb on Team B while Team B defends themselves. Team A will need a plane with enough protection around the bomb so Team B doesn't immediately blow them up when defending themselves. Team A can repair ONLY if they crash or the bomb explodes. Team B is not allowed to repair. Which ever team lasts the longest in the ship or tank wins!
I'm not sure if this has been done before, but you could try making one of those circus cannons that launch you out. The cannon could be built out of blocks with armour on the inside so maybe it won't explode when it's fired, then fill it with dynamite as the propellant to shoot you out in whichever seat you choose. You could try and build it in a way where the cannon and dynamite are seperate entities, so you could have a max complexity and block limit cannon then fill it with a seperate amount of max dynamite. See how far or high you could go, or how fast. Idk, i haven't seen it done before.
now imagine making 8, all with anchors on eachother, that connect to eachother for an 8x larger bomb. would probably also need a plane that uses anchors to connect two parts and some sort of system to send signals between the two creations making up one plane.
The Rubber-banding Magnet thing would be very cool as a plane multiplayer challenge where you sling your dynamite at others. Or just drop a payload onto others. I also liked the idea of multiplayer challenges where each player builds a vehicle but every couple minutes you guys switch builds.
dynamite (usually uncountable, plural dynamites) A class of explosives made from nitroglycerine in an absorbent medium such as kieselguhr, used in mining and blasting.
You should make a plane that drops something (Maybe like a mini glider) and you have to grab it with another plane this would be like your other "stunt" challenges
You need to make a no rules battle with three rounds of everyone's top three damaging creations like this bomber or the machine gun anti air or the bomb firing plane and just fight for the video.
Imagine dropping a magnet with a bunch of disconnecting dynamite that instantly gets repelled near the ground so it makes a large field of exploding projectiles like a larger blast radius.
I think that it’d be cool to see a battle with two flying carriers that launch smaller planes to battle each other in the sky. one player for each team could build a carrier, and the other a fighter
Hear me out, what if you do a 2v2 Trailmakers challenge where you drop tanks out of cargo planes? Each team of two will have one person build a cargo plane and the other build a tank. The cargo planes are then flown up into the sky with tanks inside them, then the tanks are dropped out. The idea is that both tanks shoot at each other whilst falling. The winner is the tank with least shots taken before both hit the ground/water. It might be difficult but I reckon it would be fun.
I've got a theory that the bomb magnetically rebounded. Magnetism doesn't us straight line so what probably happened is that it lagged and orbited what it thought was the magnet on the plane.
Fun fact: if nobody knows it and uses something else what you're claiming is incorrect Languages are defined by the users, so what they use is the correct grammatical feature This is to say that basically noone uses dinamice, so it's not the correct plural or a plural
@@unholyhardy4359 that's not how languages work. Something is grammatically correct if most people within the same generation consider it so, not if the dictionary says it is Dictionaries describe the language, but they become obsolete very quickly You can still use it with it being technically considered correct in the correct circumstances, like if you want a more literary language (but be careful with it)
