It would have been nice to have had a 4" pvc pipe left open down to it. Then guests could walk up and maybe hear the doors lock and unlock, fuel pump humming, etc...

I genuinely appreciate how you admit your failures, explain it to the rest of us so we don't do the same, yet keep going. Most people try to hide their mistakes and lie to their audience. You don't. And that makes me admire you. Good job, Tyler!
It's literally like the grownup sized version of young me dragging around my bucket of hot wheels and matchbox cars... losing some in the grass in the backyard where my old man always managed to find them with the lawnmower.
There was an abandoned railroad near my school in southern Illinois, it was built in 1799. demolition was set for this summer.. but abruptly stopped after dead bodies and remains as old as the 1800s was found.
@@aussie2uGA No, I'm not interested in having my own channel but I do know that every time we want to move earth for some new project, something is found under the ground that results in the feds coming in to investigate.
Glad to see everything is getting back to normal and the comments aren’t filled with people extremely concerned about your personal life. Nice to see an old school hoovie video as well
In the late 1990s when I was in high school BMWs were absolutely rolling status symbols; everyone wanted one and they made something excellent in every category. I’ve seen enough videos & heard enough stories that I doubt I would ever buy a BMW newer than about 2001 unless it was brand new & under warranty. The reliability & depreciation just make them a no-go. Now, something from the 1980s & 1990s is a different story.
Some of the newer bmws are good my mom owns a 2019 X3 and it still has warranty and it’s been super reliable so far no major issues but I have a feeling as soon as the warranty is over everything is gonna start breaking
Every brand after the early-mid 00s learned one thing, "we can make alot more off selling parts and forcing them bringing it back to the dealer for repairs" ie: a Window Regulator from Dodge, same part thats in EVERY vehicle they sold from 1990 to now was $350, they wanted another $300 for labor. Advance wanted $110 for a dorman brand, and my parents and I worked on it ourselves.
The issue is that they assemble the car in stages and with components all bolted together. Taking it apart or servicing is isn't a concern. And as long as it makes it past the warranty period, not their problem.
i had a 2019 x4 m40i and it was perfect. best car ive driven in many ways. but i only had that for about 2 years and 15k miles as it was partially during china flu shutdown years where everything was closed so wasnt driving much..... i still miss it and would consider another if i didnt need a bigger truck.
All in I think that's the right choice with the M6. and the 645 will be enjoyed by it's next owner very much! as for that X6.... well.. that one I really don't blame you for hahaha
@@chriscollins550 You've obviously never driven one. There are a lot of good BMWs. The X3 with a 4 cylinder and the salvage X6 "M" is not good example of the good cars the brand has.
@clonetrooper576 never driven one lol. I live in Europe. Most people in the Europe hate them. Only three types of people over hear drive them. The young that don't know the problem's, then the drung deals after that is the bone head.

@@andrei.vasile It may be more things that dont match up, like the bell housing may require its own hydraulic lines which dont match the M6s. It just is not worth it, the car is 20k miles, it should be kept stock
I hate to see things wasted. Even if it's just a handful of parts that could have been saved by a salvage yard. These burial videos always give me a small stroke
I’m sure you can get an e90 DCT transmission for the M6 for way less money than the manual and it’ll still be a massive upgrade over the SMG. A few people have already done it successfully
If the trans is correct, can't you just get a custom bellhousing made? Ive done that for an engine swap before and it was cheap and easy. Or buy the m3/m6 bellhousing and bolt it up if you can source one
Whistling diesel is a low IQ toolbag who never became a functional adult. Hoovie is a gearhead with a passion for weird and rare cars. Terrible crossover
Hoovie: “I don’t imagine me spending 15 grand on swapping this car would make any kind of sense.” *Everyone looking around confused because Tyler not making sense is what built his channel*
I know Tyler needs content, but this is the first time (ever) I haven't giving it a thumbs up. There was soooo much parts that could be used by people that could benefit from it. (not just by a environment stand point).
You are right and I would normally agree, but sometimes we have to let things go. Who the heck gets an X6 or X6M and isnt aware its going to cost them? If you are living on the edge of poverty you certainly shouldnt have bought an X6 in the first place. I would agree more if it was an old Corolla or something that really could be driven by those less well off, trying to make do. So I dont feel sorry for them if they have to buy a used part instead of getting it cheaper, if they cant afford that they arent responsible with money, and if they can afford it there is no issue.
@@GoldenCroc Well if you do not seem to care about those who have a limited budget, I assume you are more than above everyone else so in this matter you do not need to anything else than flushitdownthetoilet
@@goltzhar On the contrary, I said nothing of the sort and I personally have a lower income than most if not everyone thats running the kinds of vehicles I do. I just believe in personal responsibility. Get a budget car if you are hurting for money, instead of going broke fixing an expensive one. You will be happier in the end. I chose the pain myself, but I am not using them as a daily driver, that would be madness. My point was pretty clear in my post, I thought, can you honestly argue against what I said there?
😂 I'm sorry Hoovie but I've never seen you in so much pain riding in a BMW before lol! I had to laugh because it looked so hilarious! But Kudos to you owning up to everything. You always do..
@@porschefanatic1049 Every engine in existence ever has examples that fail. Having A friend who blew a B58 means literally nothing in the grand scheme of things.
So I'm probably a bit naive and oversimplifying things but, would that X6 not have run ok if you swapped the ECU out for the right one for that (non M) motor? Not that it really matters now but, why didn't whoever put the engine in think to do that in the first place?
It’s not like he won’t be able to put his hand through the window and unlock it you do realize everyone of those windows is going to be busted out. The roof is going to be caved in on its self, he can lock it all he wants it’s not going to start year from now and it’s not going to have any windows left in it
You buried another car. Once again you said nothing to the viewers that prob paid for that mess? I deleted Doug Demuro after his addition of bad "fish" your next! To bad cause I used to like ur vids! Note... I bought one of the watches you recommended. .. it was a $150.00 piece of flea market crap! Don't recommend if you won't back it! I want my money
@Hoovies Garage you said that you would never burry another car again! this was on the last video when you dug out the last car. Also peopel can call the cops on you and get fine for this kind of stunts, its consider ilegal dispose with eviromental consequences, you disposed it with oils and other harmfull chemicals on the ground, so yea... hope that you dont find some unemployed karen that thinks its her bussiness to call the cops on you, PS: dont matter if its your private property its not registered as landfield ;)
@@LogitechXibanga actually it does everything mentioned does not apply. All the hazardous materials are safely contained inside the car. Those containers are not gonna breakdown in one year.
The X6 and its Mercedes look-alike were stupid cars when brand new. Enormous, heavy, with not much room inside, these pigs were stupid, and made for the market in China.
My grandfather did that back in the 70's. When he sold his property it costed him a fortune to have the soil decontaminated... The promoter found the cars while digging for housing foundations and camed back to us for the bill...
Hoovie needs a dedicated excavator that keeps his safety in mind 😂 no benching, no trench box. This could become a "shake hands with danger" video easily lol.
You have the best idea! Used bmw’s (I have 2) could be sold and buried in cemeteries as coffins! Brings a whole new meaning to “family plots” & “seats a family of 5!” 😂

LOVE YOUR CONTENT. - TIME
Not sure the actual point of burying all these cars, beyond “I wonder if” but I’m here for it, I just don’t know why… but the last one was pretty interesting.
Don't what happened, I had a 1995 740i that went 300K miles before I sold it to a mechanic. The engine and transmission were still solid and QUIET on that car. It had a better stereo system than I had in my house. It just kept getting little electrical issues that I would figure out and get some parts from RockAuto and be on my way. I was moving across country and didn't want to spend 3K to move that tank and sold it to my Eurotrash mechanic.
I just "Sold" my BMW, a 1999 323i sedan, to a contractor who was gouging me. One of his workers asked if I wanted to sell it and I looked him straight in the eyes and without hesitation said, "Why, yes, I do!" The contractor took my asking price off his bill. I bought it used in 2018 knowing it would require maintenance and repair, which it immediately and near constantly fulfilled that prediction while I taught my son to drive in it. I will always remember this car. When it was working, it was the nicest car I'd ever owned. Smooth, comfortable, quiet, and an absolute pleasure to drive, but never a month passed without something breaking and requiring expensive repairs. There was always a warning light on the dash letting me know of the next attack upon my wallet. If Hoovie says that 2001 was a Golden Year for BMWs then it may have been for the E46 3-series, but 1999 was the first year for the E46 and there were many parts for the 1999 model year that didn't make it to the 2000s. I bought many parts that worked on every model of E46 except the 1999 model year. All parts were rare and expensive. The simple repairs I performed in my driveway, but my mechanic soon dreaded my many return visits. The electronics were 20 years old and so were the mechanicals, both were at EOL and it had become a money pit. The final straw was when the Xenon headlamp amplifier failed and burned out the bulb. I replaced the ridiculously expensive bulb and still no headlight. Car couldn't be driven at night and the amplifier was part of an $1100 replacement headlight assembly. Should I replace it and then find out the failure was somewhere else in the CAN bus system? That's when I decided to sell the car. I was glad to get rid of it and remove it from my driveway and my insurance policy.
I had a BMW. Loved driving it. And while it was under warrantee, I got to drive an amazing array of service loaners too. I think I put as many miles on service loaners as I did my BMW before I got rid of it.
This kind of arrogance is now beginning to annoy your audience who might not be as rich as you. I think I speak for a lot of us here. You could have given that vehicle to one of your viewers.
Great decision on going with the 60x100 garage, you can always build another 2000 (of more) sq.ft. barn elsewhere on site in the future, which would fit the character of the place more than having that one big almost square building the 80x100 option would have been.
I believe theres a way to convert the SMG to a manual. Seen some E46 M3's do it. You take the computer junk off of the transmission, make provisions for a clutch pedal and lay the lines and such. Maybe look into that
It's doable on the E46 M3 SMG, but in that case you still have to get a new hole cut and tapped to install the different reverse-gear sensor. Apparently the later SMG transmissions are substantially less amenable to the conversion to the point where it would cost WAY more to make the modifications than to just replace with one that has always been manual.
That’s because the smg trans is shared with the manual on e46 m3. Smg 3 is a 7 speed on the e60/e63 cars not a 6 speed, so it’s not something you can just remove the hydraulic system on and have a manual car. Needs a full trans swap.
Now you FINALLY did the right thing with that BMW, those cars are chariots from hell, you gave it a proper burial and no one else will ever be cursed by it.
Hoovie: " So Ninja, how many of your customers have lost their life savings pouring their hard earned money into their BMW's?" Ninja: "I lost count, but if they insist on giving me their money I will take it." Conclusion: NINJA IS A SMART MAN
The biggest problem is that the ground will sink as the roof deteriorates and collapses leaving a huge divit in the ground. Don't ask me how I know and make sure you don't build anything close by.
@@kevincockburn7805 Yeah he better as I can see the EPA or County getting on him about the oil/gas/ etc he buried with it... making his house a super fund site is par for the course for Hoovie.
Somehow it would have been interesting to see what would have happened, had you built your garage on the grave of a BMW. Would it have come back to haunt it?
There’s a certain group of people who reside in Glendale Calif, who own a lot of salvage yards in the San Fernando Valley who pull scams like that BMW all the time. I literally watched one with a Jeep that had a cracked head, rent one from a rental company, swap the heads and put block sealer in the rental afterwards, then return the Jeep. Any scam you can think of, they are b**s deep into.
I love that you do this without draining the fluids from it. So they can seep into soil of your farm, as they leak out of the crappy car you buried in the ground.
Hoovie, making the M6 into the best it's going to be means putting in the E92 6MT, even if you have to buy the transmission brand new from the fatherland. If you don't do it and benefit from the increased valuation, the next owner will do it instead. Better that you do it so we can watch and you can profit.
